Chapter 16 - A date and a proposal

Angie's POV:

When I arrived home German came to greet me.

- Hello, beautiful - he said softly.

It feels so much better being called "beautiful" by him than by Marquis.

- Hi... - I replied.

- You seem upset... Don't tell me he was there again...

- He was...

German took a deep breath before he continued.

- Then you'll be feeling better tonight if I take out out for a date!

My face lit up as he said that.

- Hmm... Alright then - I smiled - Should I be pretty then?

- You're always pretty, babe... - he grinned as he caressed my cheek.

- Thank you... - I said, blushing slightly.

- And you're even more beautiful when you blush... - he whispered then he leaned in and kissed me passionately on the lips.

- Oh... I love when you're doing this... - I giggled, blushing even more as we rested our foreheads against each other's.

- And I love you... - he smiled.

- I love you too...

German's POV:

Yes! Angie's coming with me on a date tonight and then I'm gonna propose her. She'll love what I planned for her!

I'm going to make myself look perfect!

----- TIME SKIP -----

But as always I'm suck at tie my tie and Angie is coming down the stairs and I can't get my eyes off of her. She's so beautiful...

- Are you having problems with your tie? - she asked, smiling at me.

- And taking my eyes off of you... - I mumbled - You look beautiful...

- Thank you - she smiled then she stepped in front of me - Let me help...

I just nodded and she tied my tie perfectly as always.

- Thank you for the help - I smiled.

- You're always welcome - she giggled.

- Now... Shall we go? - I questioned as I held my hand out.

- Yes, sure - she nodded as she took my hand and we left.

We got into the car and I drove us to an italian restaurant, I've already chose for us to this evening.

Angie's POV:

He was so adorable that he even opened the car door for me when we arrived and when we were inside we sat down to our table, but we didn't talk. We were just sitting there, staring into each other's eyes for long minutes, until the waiter arrived and gave us the menus.

- Have a nice evening, lovebirds and call me if you chose - he said jokingly then left.

- Lovebirds, huh... - mumbled German.

- Why? Aren't we lovebirds? - I giggled.

- Well... yeah... something like that - he smiled then he got a hold of my hand and kissed it softly - I love you so much, you know that...

- I know and I love you too - I smiled.

- You're the love of my life and I'd do anything for you...

- German... - I muttered, blushing deeply.

- This is the truth! And I don't want and I won't let anyone to take you away from me... Not even Marquis, or Pablo, or anyone else...

- No one will take me away from you... I can promise you that.

- You can't say that for sure... Who knows when will I mess things up and one of those will comfort you and...

I didn't let him finish and cut him off with a passionate kiss.

- Stop saying nonesense, please... - I said to him.

- Okay... I'm sorry... - he smiled - I just love you too much and I know myself too much as well... I feel uneasy whenever Marquis, Pablo, Aymen, or any other guys are near you...

We finished out food and after that we went to take a walk in the park which was really dark. We were talking when we ended up on a totally different side of the park where there was a beautiful cherry blossom tree.

- Wow... - I moaned as I looked at the huge tree - This is so beautiful...

- It is, indeed - said German next to me - But not as beautiful as you - he added.

- German... - I giggled.

- My beautiful princess... - he smiled and kissed my hand - I love you so much and know that you changed my whole life in the good way... You made my life different... And since Maria died... You're the one and only one I feel this way about...

- And what do you feel exactly? - I asked. I wanted to hear it properly from him.

- You make my heart pound fast... You make me feel so much passion and love... You made me fall in love with you on the way I thought I could never love anyone else... And even if it might be because you're Maria's sister I don't care. I don't care because I love you and no one else and I want to ask you... - he now knelt down in fron of me and took out a little box out of his pocket and when he opened it there was a beautiful blue diamond ring in it - I want to ask you... if you would make me the happiest man alive and marry me?
