"Ugh, i feel groggy, maybe it's because i didn't sleep well..." i slowly walked down the staircase to get some water and prepare breakfast for the rest after, *phone buzzes*, "Well well, who would call me in this time of day?" *you got a text message from meri*, "...Oh my God"

*TIME SKIP*
After preparing and eating breakfast, i checked meri's text messages, "Why would she message me? After what happened months ago??" I'm actually suprised she had the guts to do that after colonizing me and be the leading cause of my headaches.

Meri: hey, uh are you free like—today??
Pina: No
Meri: C'mon pina, i know you are, please i have something to tell you
Pina: Since you're gonna say it it's probably unimportant then
Meri: PINA!!
Pina: What? It's true, and besides why not just say it here??
Meri: It's something that is pretty personal and i need to talk to you in person
Pina: ....
Meri: So? Are you free today?? I'll treat you something~~

"What does she want anyway?? God, that woman is so vague—", *phone buzzes*, i was getting irritated by the second she sends those texts, so i had no choice but to reply to stop it, i thought it would only get me annoyed but that annoyance slowly turned into amusement, "Wow, is she really this desperate?"

Ate sia(russia): Hey pina
Pina: yea?
Ate sia: is it ok if i just let meri talk to you through my phone? She's having a hard time reaching you
Pina: uhm sorry but no
Ate sia: what? Why?? Did something happen?
Pina: nothing happened ate and even if something did it's somewhat personal and i can't really tell anyone
Ate sia: well uhh, ok then, but inform me if something is wrong ok??
Pina: yea sure

"..........oh, final—*phone buzzes*—FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" irritated, i checked my phone once again, only to find ate sia saying that i should unblock meri...

Ate sia: oh btw meri told me that you should unblock her
Pina: ......

I growled, knowing that she's just probably gonna ruin my mood today, but, i obliged, ate sia is way older than me, so is meri but she's an exception...

Pina: fine...
Ate sia: ok what is happening?? Is it because of the colonization??
Pina: that was years ago ate sia...
Ate sia: we hold grudges pina
Pina: fine it is the colonization

Well, it's already 12:30 p.m, i better get ready, I put on an oversized jacket and waited for her, "I bet she'll be here on time cuz' she's that eager", *KNOCK* *KNOCK*, "Pina! Uhm, it's meri—would you open the door for me please?", "Knew it", i open the door and step outside, beside our house, to the left, there was this one pathway that was surrounded by narra trees and led to this beautiful area that has two swings near a cliff, and a moderately sized clearing behind it, one might call it the playground, the view is so beautiful but if i'd look further to the pathway, it leads to my old house just before i moved in with ASEAN, i maintained it all these years mainly because whenever i take vacations, i always go there just to have silence, and that's also why i was the first one to move in because i knew a shortcut,

"Wanna go to the playground?", "Uhh yea sure", it would only take like a few minutes to reach the two swings,
but even so it was so awkward, i didn't even know why, it was just so....tense, i had to break the silence, "Why did you want to talk to me, anyway?", "Oh—yeah that, uhmm...", for some reason she kept on stuttering,
she isn't like that, really, she would be that one confident, boastful ass, stereotypical cheerleader in your school, "I-I need to tell you something, "I know that's why i asked you in the first place...", i said while drawing a poker face, she was blushing mad at this point and i don't know why, i just kept on getting annoyed by the millisecond because of how much she's stalling, "Listen, why are you even nervous about this? I know it's important but at least make it straight forward", "Fine", meri sighed, "I—kind of developed a crush for you...", surprised, i blurted out something that was beyond my intentions, "......Again?"
