Everyone was in their last period class when me and luke arrived at school . "This is your school ?" I nodded my head at his question . I walked to my locker and collected all my belongings . As I was heading back outside to where Luke was , i bumped into someone . Veronica . "Watch where you're going , freak ." I just continued walking , ignoring her . I didn't want to deal with her crap . She caught up to me right when I got back to Luke . She took my arm and forced me to turn around to look at her . Yuck . "Nobody ignores me . You hear that . I will beat the-" luke interrupted and defended me . Awe :) . "Why so rude ?" "And who the hell are you ?" She placed her hand on her hip , all sassily . "Luke . Now leave Y/N alone ." He went in between us . Thank you luke ! "did Y/N pay you to be friends with her ?" She laughed as she asked him . "Did you hear that everybody ! Y/N paid this guy to be friends with her !" Everybody started laughing . "No she didn't !" Luke yelled back . Once again , I just ran . But , into the road this time . I guess luke saw a truck coming . I didn't see though , until I felt the wind hit me as the 16-wheeler drove past me and luke as we're laying their on the sidewalk . He pushed me out of the way . I literally could've almost died . Well , who ca- no don't think like that . I could have luke in my life for a long time . Just believe . He just saved my life . This is the start of something new . I hope .
