"You know , that person you were scared of last night , was my friend Ashton ." Luke said as he took a bite of his pancake . "And you couldn't tell me last night when I was about to bawl my eyes out in fear that they were going to kill me in my school ?" "He just texted me , see ." He showed me his text from his friend ashton .
It said : "dude , who was that girl with you last night , I think I scared her . Did I scare her ? I didn't mean to ." I looked up from the phone to luke , replying with a simple 'ok' . The rest of the time we were eating breakfast , was completely silent . I scrolled through tumblr as luke was doing , whatever he was doing ... I decided to text my mom , considering she doesn't know where I've been for the past few days , all I told her was that I was staying at a friends for a night.
"Hey mom" I texted to her .
"Where have you been ?!?"
"A friends . When do you want me home 😔" I kinda didn't want to leave , but it wasn't like I could stay here forever .
"You can come home no later than 11 . It's a school night ."
"K . Cya later ." I locked my phone and looked up to luke having syrup all over his face from shoving his face with pancakes . "Lukeee !" I got up and got a napkin to wipe his face . It's like taking care of a 4 year old . He's messy , well with his food . His house is clean , other than the syrup all over his face , he's clean . "Oh and by the way , I have to be back home before 11 tonight , so I will head out at like 5 . I gotta take a shower and get ready for school tomorrow ." "Okay ." Once again , silence .... But he finally spoke up . "You know , I forgot to ask you something ." "Yeah ?" He held out his phone in front of my , shyly . "Can I have your number ?" I let out a small chuckle and gave it to him , and he did the same .
