"haha! I win again" Midoriya threw his hands up in victory only to be shushed by the boy in front of him.
"you're going to wake up Mr. Aizawa!" he hissed, covering the boy's mouth.
Midoriya quickly nodded lowering his hands and shaking Shinso off him, "sorry, I got excited" he whispered.
Shinso sighed feeling his eye twitch as he got his hands into back position across from Midoriya's.

Aizawa thought that putting the two in the same room during their internships would force them to get along with each other, but the peace only lasted for so long. The first few hours into the night was spent with Izuku and Shinsou throwing rude remarks at each other and almost getting into fights until Midoriya calmed them down for a little before the cycle would start up again. They eventually got bored of repeating the same insults and laid in silence across from each other staring at the ceiling.Midoriya's annoying personality must've gotten tired or something because the boy turned over to him and broke the silence
"are you asleep??" Midoriya whispered.
Shinso turned his head to where Midoriya laid, "I wish I was" he huffed, "why aren't you asleep?"
Midoriya hummed as he sat up "I only sleep every five days so I'm not tired" he told him "you?"
Shinso shrugged "I don't sleep much, insomnia I guess"
Midoriya smiled "since you're not tired, do you want to play paper rock scissors?" he asked
Shinso propped himself up on his shoulders and looked at Midoriya with a raised brow "you want to play rock paper scissors?" he questioned
Midoriya nodded "yea! Umm it's been a while since I played, but I think I still remember"
Shinso sighed and slowly sat up "you know you need to see to play right?"
Midoriya frowned at that, "we can say what comes to mind?" he suggested "but we'd have to be quiet since Mr. Aizawa is sleeping"
Shinso shrugged "sure, that'll do"
Midoriya clapped and placed a fist into his other hand "ok, umm" he waited for Shinsou to get into position and started "scissors, rock, paper!"
He stuck out his hand indicating paper while Shinso looked at him confused "why'd you say it in that order? It doesn't match the rhythm."
Midoriya bit his lip "I don't remember the order the others said it in" he muttered
Shinsou tiredly shook his head, "get into position, I'll say it."
After that, the two ended up playing against each other for two hours. Midoriya became the winner in almost every game.
"How did you manage to win almost all of our games?" Shinso groaned leaning his head back.
Midoriya smiled "there was a pattern when you played! Rock, rock, scissors, scissors, rock, paper, scissors!" he bounced up and down slightly. He was like a kid.
Shinso tilted his head, he didn't realize that he had a pattern when playing. Then he noticed the faint glow of green in the boy's freckles.
"do your freckles glow every time you use one of your quirks?" he asked, leaning forward to get a closer look at Midoriya's freckles.
Midoriya seemed unfazed with how close he was, then again, he really couldn't see how close he was, "yep, it gets a little bothersome when opponents catch on to that."
Shinsou raised a brow, "do they each have their own color or is it just random?"
"Each quirk has its own color" his freckles all lit up in different colors "pink is for Telekinesis, Purple is quirk nullification, orange is..."
