"To have two students kidnapped is our greatest failure as teachers," Snipe shook his head and balled his hand into a fist, "they've taken two of our strongest student and society's faith away from us."

"They took them away with little to no effort and left everyone else injured and poisoned" Aizawa added from where he sat, it was visible to Midnight and Mic that he was struggling to keep a neutral face.

"I agree" Nedzu spoke, "the news is condemning UA, and someone leaked Midoriya's information to the public which is bringing more outrage."

"We know Young Midoriya was taken because of his connection with the league, but why young Bakugo?" Allmight asked, still sulking about not being there for the students.

"We believe it's because of his relationship with Midoriya and violent tendencies." Nedzu replied, pulling of papers and sites about Bakugo that looked too new to be anything other than about his kidnapping. "if anything, Bakugo could be seen as a way to keep Midoriya under control and have a strong member of the team is Bakugo joins them." The principal explained, "not only that, but Bakugo joining the villain side would end UA."

There was a short silence as all the teachers took in that information. UA's reputation and a kid's life was all in the hands of another kid who is being held hostage by villains.

"Since we're on the topic of trust, I think there's something that has to be voiced now." Present Mic looked uncomfortable and shot a guilty look at Aizawa. "at this point we can't deny it anymore can we?"

Knowing what his friend was going to say next, Aizawa looked away from him and glared at the floor quietly hoping that the others were too focused on Mic to notice him. Midnight placed her hand over his in an attempt to comfort him as Mic said what the others were thinking.

"There's a possibility Midoriya, or Izuku could've been a traitor" Mic finished.

The tension in the room suddenly became suffocating as everyone glanced between Aizawa and each other. Midoriya joining the school had been a constantly debated topic that divided most of the staff, and the possibility of him being a traitor had crossed everyone's mind even before the attack.

"No, fuck no" Aizawa was the first to break the silence.

"I'm sorry Shou, but think about it" Mic sighed, "only the pussy cats and teachers knew where the training camp was. Midoriya couldn't be left alone without supervision so he was always brought to these meetings, which means he also knew where the camp was. This couldn't be a coincidence-"

"Stop this, Mic" Midnight interrupted, "you were one of the few people Midoriya trusted, and you go and blame him for what happened?" she hissed, letting go of Aizawa's hands so she could grab the table. "You know how badly that boy was treated by said villains, you were there when I had to give him a scarf because the boy was scared of Aizawa seeing him without that godforsaken collar!" She snapped.

"I hate to say it, but there is a possibility" Snipe spoke up when Mic slowly sat down. "they both worked for the league since they were a child. For all we know, Izuku could've been collecting information and using Midoriya as a distraction to keep anyone from finding out."

"Midoriya nor Izuku would willingly help the league" Aizawa finally added, "sure, they both worked with the villains and attacked the students, but you have to remember that that boy was abused by said villains. Midoriya cries when he makes the smallest mess, and Izuku panics every time he gets excited and accidentally activates his quirks." Aizawa snapped, "And that doesn't give complete proof that he's innocent, but I can promise you right now that if by any chance, he is the traitor, it was not by choice."
