Rapunzel's eyes peeled open, her head was throbbing. She placed her hand gently upon her temple as she sat up. She looked around the room, not knowing where she was. She got up, wobbling slightly. She exited her room and walked down the hall. Only one door was open and she could feel the sun's rays shining out of the entrance. When she entered the room, a small gasp escaped her lips. A beautiful nursery, much like the one on the sun. Tears welled in her eyes as she moved further into the room, running her hands along every nook and cranny. Stuffed, toy, and pictures of lions filled the room along with suns and the colors yellow and white. It was beautiful. She sat down in the rocking chair with a stuffed lion in her hand. She stroked the mane of its fur, closing her eyes as she imagined her future baby.
"Rapunzel." A voice sounded from the doorway, causing her to jump from her spot.
"Niklaus."
"You had me so worried about you." He spoke, stepping closer to his beloved. She looked down, holding her arms close to her.
"You know I didn't mean what I said in the graveyard, right?" He asked, stepping even closer.
"How long was I out?" she ignored the questioned he spoke.
"A couple of days or so."
"What?! I need to go." She spoke, rushing out of the room.
"Rapunzel, you can't just leave! Where are you going?" Niklaus rushed out, running over to her.
"My father, he was expecting me back home yesterday. He's a bit over-" She was cut off by loud roar.
"Niklaus Mikaelson!" Klaus rushed downstairs, leaving Rapunzel in his dust. There stood three unknown males to him.
"Yes?" He questioned cockily, his usual smirk on his lips. They raised their hands, an incredible force throwing him backward. He tried to get up but they held him to the floor.
"Where's my daughter!" He growled, worried for his demigoddess.
"Daughter?" He choked out, confused.
"Dad, let him go. I'm fine." Rapunzel called out.
"Rapunzel! You haven't contacted us in days. You know, every day at sunrise to contact us." He scolded.
"You're Helios." He commented, but then paused to look at the other men.
"Who are you? His bodyguards?"
"We're his sons." Luka scoffed.
"You didn't tell me you had brothers."
"I haven't had the time. I found out when I went home to the sun." Rapunzel shrugged.
"I'm sorry father, I was rendered unconscious..."
"You what?!" The three yelled. They all looked at Klaus with fire in their eyes.
"I think it was just stress. It wasn't Nik." She spoke softly.
*One Hour Later*
Rapunzel had explained everything to Helios, Lukas, and Daniel what had happened since she had left their home.
"I discovered my mothers' name." Rapunzel's voice came out in a soft whisper.
"Ah, yes. Elinora Salvatore." Helios sighed as he looked down at his daughter in her spot on the couch, criss-cross with a mug of hot chocolate in her hands.
"I never got to meet her. But I think that I know some family." She smiled up at him.
"I think you should have this." He hands her a piece of paper and on it is a drawing of a woman, one that looked very similar to herself.
"Mother." She gasped, running a finger among the fine detailed image. Tears filled her eyes as she thought about the fact that she would never meet the woman who had given birth to her... and her child wouldn't meet their grandmother.
"Thank you." She teared up, holding the drawing to her heart as if she was embracing her mother for the first time.
"How could I tell if I was related to someone? I know some Salvatores, but how do I know they have the same Salvatore blood as my mother and myself?" She questioned, determined to discover whether or not the Salvatore brothers were her family.
"I could do some research and ask around if you would like?" Daniel offered as he entered the room, which made her smile.
"You would do that for me?" Rapunzel asked, touched.
"We all will." Luka spoke from his newfound spot beside his twin.
"Thank you, all of you." Her voice cracked as she began to tear up, overwhelmed with love.
"We're family. Family sticks together." Helios says proudly. Rapunzel set down her mug of cocoa and rushed over to her family. She hugged them all tight, loving the embrace of her loved ones.
"I see you've worked everything out." Nik spoke from the entrance with a smile.
"Thank you, Nik." she thanked as she moved closer to her beloved.
"For what?"
"For the name. Elinora Salvatore."
"It's just a name, I couldn't get her to turn." He spoke as he hung his head in shame.
"You gave me my mother's name. So I thank you, my love. I will know my history soon! How exciting!" She said thrilled.
"Very, mon Soleil." He whispered as he placed a kiss on her forehead.
I FUCKIN UPDATED! Happy day before thanksgiving :)
