"Hello, everyone! My name is Yeonwoo Lim," she introduced herself with a bright smile. Jennie clapped along with the audience, still processing the fact that this young girl was the owner of Chanel Korea. But before she could dwell on it, another figure stepped forward to the mic.

Jennie's eyes instinctively followed. He looks... familiar. "Hello, everyone. I'm Y/N Lim," the young man introduced himself.

The crowd erupted into applause, but Jennie remained frozen in shock. Her mind struggled to process what was happening—was she dreaming? "Alright, everyone, my son Y/N has prepared a speech for tonight," Mr. Lim announced, prompting another round of applause.

Jennie, however, was still deep in thought.

Y/N cleared his throat. "Actually, I wasn't really prepared for this speech my father mentioned," he admitted, making the guests chuckle. "But first of all, I want to thank everyone for coming to this event. I know some of you have busy schedules, yet you still made time to be here, and that truly touches our hearts. Of course, we also understand that others couldn't attend due to work or business obligations, and the Lim family respects that.

I also want to express my gratitude to our models, our fashion designers, and our special guests—especially Ms. Jennie Kim. And lastly, I want all of you to give yourselves a round of applause for being here tonight. Thank you for your support, and we promise to work even harder from now on. That's all. Have a great evening."

As Y/N ended his speech, the audience clapped enthusiastically. But no one seemed more impressed than Jennie Kim herself.

Y/n's POV

As I greeted the guests, my attention was drawn to Jennie Kim, who was still staring at me. Gathering my courage, I walked toward her. The moment our eyes met, she dropped her usual composed expression, making me gulp. "Hello, Ms. Jennie Kim. It's nice to meet you here, and thank you for coming to this event," I said with a polite smile.

To my complete surprise, she suddenly pulled me into a hug. I froze for a moment before hugging her back. "You know... I had no idea you were rich," she murmured as we pulled away. Then, out of nowhere, she playfully ruffled my hair, making me pout.

She chuckled. "But seriously, you look even more handsome than I imagined." I raised a brow, smirking. "So, the Jennie Kim imagined me? I must be blessed if that's true."

We both giggled at my remark. Then, her expression softened. "I'm sorry, Y/N," she said quietly. I gave her a weak smile. "It's okay, I understand. Besides, Kai is my friend, and I know he'll take good care of you."

Lies.

I knew I could treat her better than Kai ever could. (Sorry, Kai.)

Rosé's  POV

Bored out of my mind, I found myself scrolling through Instagram. Without thinking, I searched for Y/N oppa's account. The truth is, I had a crush on him. But when I found out he liked Jennie unnie, I decided to give up. Then, when the news broke that Jennie unnie and Kai were dating... everything changed.

Y/N oppa suddenly became closer to me. And honestly? I missed him so much.
