"So you're telling me that you waited to call me. The crime scene was discovered this morning why am I the last person notified Jack!!" I yell say to Jack as he looks at me like he could kill me.

I don't care who is watching I could fuck him up and play the victim real quick.

"I didn't think I would need you until we got here and Will couldn't figure out if Gideon was the Ripper." He says trying to hold his fiery that causes Will to flinch and Hannibal to look at him

Oh, this man is stupid. I shake my head and walk over to Beverly who is pretending not to listen.

"So she was killed like all the other victims of the ripper. The ripper hasn't killed in 2 years." I say pacing back and forth.

"How long has Gideon been here I ask the air." Just for Hannibal to answer.

"Two years." I look at him. He seems slightly rigid almost like he is calculating something but trying not to show it on his face or body.

I turn away and walk towards the woman splayed out."Might as well see what the dead has to say."

I stand at her feet close my eyes and take a deep breath and everyone goes quiet. I open one eye and look at Jack

"Might not be much since the brain has been dead for 4 hours," I say with as much venom as possible before closing my eye again and preceding to walk counter-clockwise around her bid till I reach her head.

I stopped and opened her eyes so I could look into them and found a slight essence of her soul.

Have to move quickly she's barely there. I stare into her eyes and mentally quote the spell "Soul of the dead." And like that, I sink into the lake that is her soul

---------

Her thought is all almost fried from being dead for too long but I can get bits of what happened

She trusted him like a fool and was a lamb led to the slaughter, but Gideon was so off his movement was that of an uncertain man a puppet held on a tight string

Oh, the pain she felt such youth stolen before it could reach its true potential.

My mind comes back to the land of the living after she fully dies.

I slowly lift my head and make eye contact with Jack. I stand to my full height and walk away from her.

All eyes are on me and I'm pacing again

Then I see a figure out of the corner of my eye. It's the Lamb. All bloodied and ugly. She walks around her cold body crying and trying to get back in.

She looks at me with tears in her eyes and the only thing I can do is shake my head.

Out of habit, I pull out the feather given to me by my father. I raise it and brush it across her face vertically from crown to chin.

"May you reach A'aru" I say a little softly. It is the only comfort I can bring to her as she fades away from the physical world.

"A'aru are you Egyptian Mrs. Vizla?"Doctor Lecter says from behind me and he continues. "Many people would have said Duat."

"I am not most people and Please do not make this." I gesture to the room listen. corps in it. " Into a therapy session."

"What is the feather for and why did you do that thing?" Jimmy asks with genuine curiosity.

"It is something my father taught me as a child the feather represents Ma'at and how our heart will be weighed against her feather of truth and justice. The motion I made is for the soul that was in front of me."
