5 - take me away

"Joong? You haven't said anything since we left this morning. Are you mad at me?" Nine fiddles with his seatbelt.

Joong kept his eyes on the road and remained silent while he drives.

"Joong?" Nine says cautiously.

"Sorry P'Nine. I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at P'Joss."

"Okay good. Be mad at him for whatever reason, just not me." Nine jokingly responded.

A smile appeared on Joong's face.

"Did you guys fought? What were you mad at him about?" Nine turned to his side, looking at Joong.

Joong shifted in his seat as he noticed Nine staring at him. He can feel his cheeks heating up and Nine could notice it.

"Just.. some things. Guy stuff." Joong answered nonchalantly trying to dismiss the topic.

Nine nodded as if he understood the context of what Joong just said.

"Where are we off to by the way? I forgot to ask earlier when you just dragged me out of my living room."

"You'll love it P'Nine."

Nine scratches his head in frustration. He can never really get a straight answer from Joong or Joss. It would always be cryptic or vague.

"Well.. I'll be the judge of that." Nine didn't want to push Joong on answering his question.

And Nine sure did love where Joong took him. The lights were all over the place as the joyful screams from the people currently on adrenaline rides filled the air.

"So? What do you think P'Nine?" Joong asked with his hands in his pocket.

Nine was bewitched by the noise, the lights, the rides and the happy atmosphere.

Absent mindedly, he hugs Joong.

"Thanks Joong. I love it. I've never been in a theme park before."

Joong was smiling with a blushing cheek.

It felt like Nine was hugging Joong too long. Nine backed away awkwardly.

Joong scratched the back of his head.

"Where do you wanna go first P'Nine?" Joong asked.

Nine looks around with a childlike wonder all over his face.

"I don't know. I want to try them all. How about that one first?" Nine pointed at the roller coaster.

The spent the rest of the day on hopping from one ride to another. Nine was insatiable. When he said he wanted to try all of the rides, he really meant it.

Joong placed the cold bottled water agaisnt Nine's cheek. Nine shriveled from the cold.

"Had enough of the rides yet?" Joong sat beside Nine.

"Sort of. The last one really spinned my soul around." Nine chuckled and Joong was stunned by that sight.

"What about we finished it off with a ferris wheel ride? It's about to get dark anyway and the view up there is amazing." Joong suggested.

"Okay. Let's do that." Nine grinned. He felt like a child, carefree and happy. With Joong, Nine felt like he can be himself.

When Nine entered the booth of the ferris wheel he cannot contain his excitement. And although the whole ride was slow it was still something he was giddy about.

Their booth reached the top of the ride. Nine couldnt help but admire the view.

"Joong look.. Look!" Nine pointed at the city lights that started popping up from the distance.

Joong had the same look on his face behind Nine. His face almost resting at Nine's shoulder.

Nine glanced at Joong who was leaning down and had his face too close to him. Without a second thought Nine placed a soft kiss on Joong's lips.
