Y/N POV

Walking into the Halloween party in my [insert costume] the first thing I noticed was the huge amounts of candy and go straight for them because, well, it's a Halloween party.

It would only be right.

As I continue to stay close to the snack table, because my friend who invited me here has abandoned me, I can't help but feel as if I'm being stared at, so like a smart person I turned around and honestly...

I didn't know what I was looking at

Across the room, this...guy sat at one of the tables, staring at me.

Or maybe he's just staring at something behind me, so I turn back around, but all there is is a blank wall.

But there's still a strong possibility that he's staring at the wall, so I move to the other side of the room where the drinks are.

When I make it there I look back up at where the mysterious person was sitting only to notice them gone.

So he must've been lost in thought. Of course.

I turn to grab myself a drink and literally drop all my candy and snacks because...

In all his glory, sitting at the seat at the end of the table,

I promise you I jumped up like 50 feet in the air.

He continues to stare, but now it's a staring contest between us.

His gaze all too alluring to look away but too intimidating, as if he can see all my darkest secrets.

'Who is this person and why are they staring at me?'

"Zachary...Zachary Smith"

I give him a look of incredulous.

'Omg can he read my mind!!!'

"No I can't read your mind but you make it too easy to not be able to tell what your thinking babe."

Once again shook, I finally think to use my voice.
