"Fatass."
"Jew."
I never NEVER thought I would love the sound of those two words. Never did I think I would fucking wait for him to get to school before going with my friends. Never did I think I would feel disappointment when I thought he wasn't going to show up for school.
Yet that's how I feel. Every. Single. Day.
I walk in to school with Kenny, meet up with Stan, then I actually wait around for Cartman to show up. I go look for him. As far as I know no ones really noticed... 'Cept Kenny. But he's never cared much about this crap anyway. Stan's questioned it, but I reply with the same answer. Everyone. Excuse.
He comes in on his bike followed by a bunch of people I don't really know. I follow him to where he puts his bike away and then I watch from the gate as the last of the strangers leave and he places his bike on the rack. I look at my phone to see the time, class'll start in two minutes. I look back up and before I can open my mouth to order him to get his ass to class he's already beside me. Grabbing me arm and pulling me towards where the others are standing. Some girl is still following us, but by the time we get into the crowd she's gone.
He looks at me with examining brown eyes and I turn my head. Not knowing what to say.
"Fatass." It comes out rushed, blurted, practically on reflex. A usual response.
"Jew." He grins and sighs as if he's won something. I turn to look up at him for a moment before turning to look at Kenny for no reason. I just sort of stare as the blonde talks to a bunch of random girls. More people I don't know. Great.
Stan comes up behind me and puts a hand on my shoulder, causing me to jump. My trance always makes me sort of jumpy.
"Hi." The dark haired male smiles at me. But it's a different smile. He's my best friend. It doesn't make me nervous at all. I smile back and wave a bit.
"Hey dude."
He opens his mouth to say something but then looks at something behind me and shuts it. The bell rings and he begins walking away. "I'll see you in two periods." Oh yeah...I won't see him again until third period.
I turn around and I'm greeted by Cartman's arms. They wrapped around my neck and pulled me into the locker room. I pulled on his wrists and tried to make my feet stop moving with him. But I ended up being pulled all the way into the first row of the locker room, screw my smaller height, and of course Cartman and I had P. E. lockers next to each other.
I sat down on the bench as Cartman undid the lock like he always did for me, and turned to give a smile to Kenny, whose locker was behind me. He grinned back and went to changing as Kevin came and began talking to him.
"So Jew," Cartman began as he placed his back back in the locker. He began getting his P. E clothes out and removed his shirt. I averted my eyes so I made sure I didn't catch myself staring, and to my surprise Cartman didn't say anything for a while. He got his shirt on and began rummaging around in his locker for who knows what.
I sighed and removed my shirt and clothes as well. Replacing them with my South Park High P. E attire. The colors were dull and I didn't think I looked very good in it. But it didn't really matter, no one was expected to rock the look of baggy shorts and a T-shirt two sizes too big.
I put on my shoes and looked to Cartman as I got ready to walk outside for the warm up lap. Kenny was already gone and Cartman was pretending to look for something. I knew he was waiting for me. He was dressed and ready to go out and yet here he sat. Facing me and digging through his back pack. "Cartman." I said, beginning to walk out. Trying to get his attention I turned my back.
"No Kahl!" He said in his signature voice. That voice always makes me stop just before I walk out of the locker room. Without reluctance. I don't turn around to look at him though. I just stood until I'm pretty sure he's walking my way before I speed walk out onto the asphalt. Usually just before I'm ready to start jogging Cartman jumps on me from behind. Causing me to almost fall.
"Dude!" I yell at the larger boy. Trying to get him off. "Get-off!" I pretend to struggle in his grip, completely aware of Kenny watching us. Honestly I felt like I was gloating about something when I knew someone was watching Cartman and I carry on out usual antics. Why is beyond me. "Kenny!" I pretend to be pissed as I reach out for the blonde. Fact; I can't really breath with Cartman doing this.
The blonde blinks and try's walking over to Cartman and pulling him off as we walk, but Cartman shoves him away. Pulling me along. Kenny goes to reach for me instead and I'm suddenly in the middle of a tug-of-war game. "No Kenny that's ma Kahl!" Cartman says, pulling me around and forcing me to walk backwards. He let's go and I nearly fall on my ass.
I roll my eyes and turn back around. Kenny shrugs and Cartman's already walking away. That fat bastard really doesn't understand a thing.
P. E. goes by pretty quickly, mostly Kenny and I hanging out. Cartman goes off with others or beats me at everything. I suck at physical education anyway. He doesn't need to rub it in.
Man, I had no idea that was going to be the least of my problems by the end of today.
