Tanners ~POV~

I still didn't really know why I told him id go out with him. I mean I said one date but why? Was it because he was so much like the Tyler I missed? Or was it because I liked him to? Then again it could just be as simple as 'he was so noisy and annoying I needed him off my back.'

Whatever the reason I knew he was bad news so one date would be it, no more than that. After id make it very clear that if he didn't top kissing me I was filing a complaint for sexual harassment. I reached the cafeteria for lunch and sat in the usual spot. My friends and I, melody, Lewis and Jack liked the back. Far enough away from the in crowd to not get pointed out, close to an exit for escape and still close enough to the rest of society to somewhat blend in. When I sat down it was only Jack at the table.

"Hey, were are Melody and Lewis?" I asked.

"The breakfast club had a meeting, so they had to eat lunch in the club room." Jack was very attractive, it made me wonder why he want more popular. He had long full lashed that surrounded kind grey eyes, his hair was sleek and blond; he was tall, muscular and intimidating unless you knew him. As far as I knew he was straight as an arrow, even if he was gay, I don't think I would date him. I'm not one to date friends I plan on keeping around.

"So I heard you've been spending a lot of time with Jessie Smith lately, something we should know about?" the question took me by surprise.

"Na not really, he's just been really annoying, I don't get what his deal is. The friggen bastard won't take a hint."

"Well you're not exactly giving him the cold shoulder"

"What the hells that supposed to mean?" I said feeling irritated.

"It means you give in to easy, you let him drag you off without protest. It like you learned nothing from the Tyler incident" he replied coldly. I blinked away tears hat began to well up.

"Well you know what Jack your being a real ass right now, and you should learn to keep your thick thoughts to yourself" I picked up my bag and walked off. I wasn't in the mood for his bullshit advice. It was so like Jack to give advice no one wanted. I mean was it so hard just to stay silent? I knew I was being unreasonable, it was the Tyler comment he made. No one understood how much that hurt when Tyler left me. I was not looking to rewind and start again.

When final bell rang I bolted for the doors. Usually I waited for Melody to ride the bus together but I was in no mood. I quickened my pace when a familiar car began to pull out of the student parking lot. Shit! Please don't see me I thought. To late, Jessie saw me and pulled up beside me as I was walking.

"Need a ride?" he asked.

"No"

"What about our date?"

"Not happening"

"Why?" he asked with confusion.

"Because you're a jock, Captain of the foot ball team. Popularity and homosexuality do not mix." The car stopped, I froze. Jessie got out of the car and walked towards me. I stared to back away but he caught my wrist.

"Let go!" I protested. Cars behind him stared to honk.

"Get in the car" he whispered.

"No" I said again. All of the sudden he picked me up over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. I pounded on his back and tried to kick, it wasn't working. He reached up and groped my ass for a second, I gaped and turned as bright a red as you could get. I hope no one saw I pleaded silently.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" I yelled. Ignoring me he opened the passenger's seat and threw me in. He walked around and got into the drivers seat and sped off, giving me no chance to get out.

"So my place or yours?" he said with a teasing grin. This was bad, very bad. I was in for one long ass date.
