You watched as people scattered out of the hall. The hall emptied, yet you were still at your locker. Peter told you to meet him before class but so far you were being stood up and were gonna miss class. Yet you were worried for a different reason.
Let me explain. ~You've had a crush on Peter ever since you were kids. You've always stood up for him when flash bother him, you were best friends. And then MJ came into the picture and poof..it's like you weren't even there.
So you started hanging out with Ned more than Peter. Even though Peter would look at you sometimes, it was obvious he didn't care or even notice.
So you were ranting to Ned once and accidentally let it slip that you liked Peter. He giggled, thinking you were joking, then realized you were serious.
It was awkward for a couple days, but then you were hanging out again. One time Ned had thought that it would be a good idea to hangout with both of us. Peter was surprised to see me.
Everything was normal until Ned started joking around and made a joke about you two dating. Peter winced, "Y/N is like my bestfriend that would be weird!" He blushed and even though your face was red your frowned and looked away.
Ned scowled, "Just because you don't like y/n back doesn't mean you have to be rude Peter." "What do you mean like her back?" Neds face fell and looked at you. "Y-you like me, y/n?" Peter stared at you, face now red then before.
A tear fell down your cheek as you got up and rushed out of Peters tiny apartment.
Now you were here. Early in the morning Peter texted you to meet him before fifth period.~
You subconsciously started walking, kinda like your mind was forcing you not to get detention. You wanted to wait and see what Peter said but at the same time, you knew it would be weird. So you kept walking slowly, until you heard the sound of footsteps down the hall.
You turned to see Peter running towards you. "P-Peter?" He sighed in relief as you said his name. "I thought you wouldn't show up, you know since your ignoring me and all."
You nodded and gave him an apologetic smile. "So what did y-." Peters lips connected to yours.
Your lip melted perfectly together. His soft hands rested on your cheeks and his hair rubbed against your forehead. It was the perfect kiss, and Peters gently lips made it so much better.
He pulled away and blushed. "S-sorry I was going to do that earlier I just..was nervous.." You were in disbelief. Your crush just kissed you. "I-I was wondering y/n, if you'd go to homecoming with me?" You blushed harder.
You hugged him. "Of course Peter..but-." "No buts! Let's just go." You nodded and kissed one last time before going to class
Peter skipped down the hall saying, "I think that went well."
