"I can't do this, please don't make me do this" I pleaded with Fred and George as they dragged me towards the dining room of twelve Grimmauld Place.

"But Thalia-" Fred started

"-It's just your dad-" George continued

"-Don't you want to see him-" Fred added

"-After all these years away from him?" George ended

"I-I, I'm not ready for this" I ripped myself free and sprinted up the stairs to lock myself in my bedroom for the rest of the night

S I R I U S

"Welcome to hell on earth" I said as I greeted the Weasleys.

"Thank you for having us Sirius" Arthur said and I smiled at him.

Arthur and I had become extremely close ever since Alexia announced that she was pregnant with my baby, we hadn't been married but once I found out I proposed to her at once. The day that was supposed to change our lives forever never came since I was locked up in Azkaban and Alexia was... Well, you know.

"Padfoot, um, the Weasleys and I have something to tell you" Remus said from across the table, signalling Arthur and Molly to sit in the two empty seats next to him.

"Go ahead Moony my boy, what have I missed during my twelve humble years in Azkaban?"

"Well, you see Siri-" Arthur started but was cut off by Molly

"Thalia's alive" Molly said bleakly showing no emotion on her face

I choked on my pumpkin juice. "What?" I spluttered looking at Molly like she was a mad woman. She said nothing. I looked over at Remus and Arthur but they just nodded their heads sympathetically.

"You mean to say that I've lived fourteen years mourning my daughters death and she's been alive all this time? What's next, Alexia's alive also?"

"Sirius-" Remus started.

"She's been living with you all these years and you've been-"

"She wasn't living with me, Sirius" Remus cut me off, "she's been living with the Weasleys in the Burrow"

"What? But Lex and I discussed this, if both of us died then Thalia would go to you, not Arthur and Molly."

"That's the other thing, Sirius" Arthur said pulling an envelope out of his pocket "I think you should read this" he said handing it to me

I opened up the letter inside and read

Dear Arthur and Molly,

I know you're wondering why I've left the child that I love ever so dearly on your doorstep in the dead of night with only a letter to explain things but by the time you're reading this, I won't be able to explain personally.

I had a vision you see, I saw Voldemort killing Lily and James and I had to make a decision right away. If you read the Daily Prophet tomorrow hopefully you'll see the arrest of Sirius Black on the front page splashed in bold writing. I can't believe he'd do that, I loved him and he betrayed us.

So I'm leaving Thalia to you, I know I said that if both Sirius and I died we'd leave Thalia to Remus but I want her to feel like a Weasley. That's the other thing, please tell Albus that we'd like Thalia to be known as Thalia Alexia Weasley not Black since I don't want her to feel left out just because she's the daughter of a criminal

I hope you understand and celebrate my life instead of mourning my death like the way it's supposed to be. I never like the thought of saddening funerals, we all had great lives and I think we should rejoice because of it

The tears in my eyes were evident. I can't believe he'd do that, I loved him and he betrayed us.

"But I told her" I choked out, "sh-she was one of the only people that knew, her, Lily and James, Wormtail, and I. She should've known I didn't do it" The tears were rolling down my cheeks now, wet and fast.

"I'm sorry Sirius" Arthur said placing a hand on my shoulder

"If it makes you feel any better, once Thalia found out you were her father, she believed you were innocent straight away" Remus said smiling at me

"Really?" I asked and he nodded

"Said that until she got solid proof or your word for it that she wasn't going to suggest that you did any of those things" I smiled at this "you know what she told me one time I called her to my office?"

"What was it?"

"I know my dad like the back of my hand" A voice from the doorway said, I turned around to see a girl that resembled what Alexia looked like when she was fifteen except with stormy grey eyes identical to mine. "And I know that he would do anything to protect the people he loved, and I'm one of those people"

I looked at her for a second, savouring the moment. "Thalia?" I whispered

She nodded. "Dad?" she asked and I nodded. I got up from my chair and started running to her right as she started running to me. We met in the middle and I engulfed her in a huge bear hug, lifting her off the ground slightly

"I thought you were dead" she said into my shoulder

"I thought you were dead" I cupped her face with my hands. "You're the spitting image of your mother, right down to the abnormally large feet"

She chuckled. "Except for my eyes, I have my daddy's beautiful grey eyes"

"I like to refer to them as manly" I said and she laughed placing a hand on my shoulder

"Whatever gets you to sleep at night, dad" she said and sat down in between Fred and George who had saved a spot for her.

"I'd like to propose a toast" I said as everybody lifted up their glasses of wine and pumpkin juice. "To Thalia, the daughter both me and Alexia are extremely proud of"

"To Sirius" Thalia said "The best father in the world"

"I unfortunately cannot agree with that" Arthur said with a grin on his face

"Oh get over yourself Arthur, we all know I do all the work" Molly said nudging Arthur in the shoulder

We all laughed and gulped down our drinks. This was definitely the best night I've had in fourteen years
