Dean Winchester, known for driving fast and recklessly. Over a year after a hookup with a random chick, he got a call from her. He was expecting her to want another few rounds but was shocked to learn he had a child, a little boy. He sent an address of a high-end motel to meet his bright green-eyed son.
He after vigorous internet research, he bought a car seat, baby bottles, diapers and a pop-up crib for him to sleep in. Dean paid for his hotel and set the place up for Ashlee, and his son to visit.
Whenever Ashlee arrived, she was shocked to see his effort in getting the place put together for a baby. Ashlee remembered Dean as a messy guy. The nicely decorated hotel room seemed extremely out of budget for Dean, but Ashlee didn't mind the effort. Dean was shocked to see the female holding a real baby. He was also shocked to see how beautiful Ashlee was. Her skin was dark, and her natural hair was out. The tight ringlets were a nice caramel color, her eyes dark and kind. He smiled at her and walked forward to greet her. "Hello, Dean," Ashlee said kindly. Dean once again was shocked to hear such a soft voice come from a bold looking young woman. She didn't seem to be the type of person who would get pregnant from a one night stand.
"Hey, Ashlee. It's nice to see you again," Dean said politely. Ashlee gave an amused laugh. "You look amazed to see such a beautiful woman, please close your mouth." Dean blushed, looking down. He cleared his throat. "Can I see him?" He asked. Ashlee nodded, handing Dean the 5-month-old child. "His name is Ray." His hair color matched Dean's. Ray's complexion was a nice caramel color, a perfect mixture of his mother's and his father's. The baby's eyes were closed.
Sam was out, exploring the town they were in. Dean smiled and looked at the small hands of the baby. "He's beautiful," Dean said. Ashlee nodded. "I don't breastfeed because I hoped this day would come."
The next few hours were spent with Ashlee teaching Dean how to properly care for Ray. By sunset, Dean learned the basic ropes of fatherhood and showed Ashlee out. "Call me if you have any issues, and when you take him anywhere, please drive safely," Ashlee requested. Dean nodded and smiled at her. She planted a quick peck on Ray's forehead and walked to her car. As she turned her car on, Sam came walking to the door of the motel room, surprised to see Dean standing bowlegged with a child curled in his arms. "Wow, you're gonna do this whole "father" thing?" Sam questioned. Dean nodded, and walked inside, following Sam. "I hope you don't plan to raise him into hunting Dean," Sam warned. Dean shook his head. "I doubt Ashlee will want Ray to stay in my life, she's just doing this to make her conscious feel not so dirty," Dean said, rocking the small human.
The night was spent with Dean waking up every few hours to check on his kid and when morning came, he was surprised not to hear any crying. He quickly got up to check on Ray and smiled when he saw the big, green eyes staring up at him. "Hello, Ray-Bae," Dean cooed, and picked him up, Dean made a face, "Did I really just say that out loud?" He asked himself. He shook his head and changed Ray into a fresh diaper, and put him in a onesie. A smile was plastered on Dean's face as he made a bottle for the baby. He fed him, and sat Ray down on the floor, and played with him.
Dean was watching the baby shake a block in the air, and look at it. Sam walked into the living room area of the motel room. "Coffee is in the pot," Dean said and pointed to the pot. Sam raised his eyebrows. "What?" Dean asked defensively. "Nothing," Sam stated, shaking his head. Sam poured himself a cup of coffee and sat down beside Dean.
Ray took the plastic box, attempting to shove it in his mouth. "Hey, buddy. What are you doing?" Dean asked, and took the block from Ray's hands. Ray didn't like that, and let out a high pitched scream, tears welled up in his eyes, and dripped down Ray's cheeks. Sam chuckled, offering his finger to the child. The baby took Sam's finger and started to chew on it. "Dammit, that's what I forgot," Dean muttered. Sam looked over at him. "I looked into babies and most of the time, this is about the age when they start teething. Ashlee even told me she was pretty sure he was teething," Dean said, walking into the bathroom, and came out with a wet washcloth. He offered it to Ray, and he hesitantly took it and gave Sam his finger back.
"We have to go to the store and get teething rings," Dean said, grabbing his keys and the carrier. He strapped Ray in and shook his head at the baby gnawing at the cloth. Sam helped Dean put the carrier in the car, and strap it in correctly. Dean started to drive to the store a few roads away. Sam gave Dean a look of confusion. "What the hell are you doing?" Sam asked. "The speed limit?" Dean responded. "Dean, you don't go the speed limit. Ever. Even when we had a mother and her baby, without a car seat I may add, you sped when she was crying and begging you to slow down," Sam spoke. Dean rolled his eyes. "Well, this kid is mine. There's a difference."
"Wow, Dean Winchester drives the speed limit, for the first time in his life, because of Ray Winchester." Sam snarked. Dean rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Baby needs a break on the gas, too," Dean grumbled.
"Excuses, excuses"
