You had changed your clothes to get your mind off how much of a fucking idiot you knew you were. You shouldn't have kissed Chris. You were standing at the merch table with Kylie, setting the shirts out on display.

"(y/n), you've been pretty quiet, you good?" Kylie asks, pinning a shirt above her head. You glance at her and shrug. You look around and see that there are a lot of people around you at the moment.

"I'll tell you later, I can't talk about it right now." You half-whisper. She looks at you with a puzzled expression but nods. Security had started to let people in, and they were all crowding at the barricade. You had a few people come up to you and ask to take pictures with you. You agree and smile with them. They asked you if you wanted to see them and you nod, looking at the small screen. You were shocked to see how flattering the outfit you were wearing was to your figure. Soon enough, everyone else crowds in and the lights dim. You lean against the table while the openers come to start the show. You couldn't stop thinking about how badly you fucked up.

"We love you guys so fucking much, thank you for being here with us tonight." Chris shouts, waving his hand in the air. "We've got one more for you tonight. This one's called Break The Cycle." He says as the intro started to play. You were watching the show, but watching your brother. You couldn't handle looking at Chris right now. Your lip curls up slightly as you listen. You give in and watch the tall, tattooed man perform, his eyes on the crowd. Just then, he looks toward the merch table and the two of you make eye contact. You immediately look away and turn around to face Kylie. The rest of the song plays out and the guys finish the show, walking off the stage. You stand up straight and get ready, knowing a herd of fans were about to swarm the merch table.

"(y/n) you look so pretty!!" A couple of girls come up to you, squealing. They couldn't have been but 15. You smile and thank them, asking if they want a picture. They nod excitedly and snap a selfie, then a full picture. To be honest, their fanbase was super nice, for the most part. Time went on as you were handing out shirts and other merch items and the crowd dwindles. There were only a few people left in the venue, and security was trying to shoo them out. The other guys on the crew told you and Kylie that they would finish packing up and that you could go back to the bus. You nod as you start to walk to the exit. Your heart is pounding, you weren't ready to face Chris.

"So are you finally going to tell me what's going on, (y/n)? You've been avoidant nearly the whole night. Did something happen in the dressing room with Chris?" Kylie asks, stopping you before you reach the exit. You don't say anything as you look at her, and you bite your lip to keep it from quivering.

"I.... I fucked up, Ky. Like REALLY fucked up." You sigh and run your fingers through your hair, looking at the ceiling. She crosses her arms and looks at you with a raised eyebrow. "I kissed him. I didn't mean to, I wasn't thinking and I... I just got caught in the moment. I know it made him really uncomfortable but I couldn't help myself. All I've been thinking about is if my feelings are real or if it's just attachment like Ghost said, because Chris has been so nice to me. I feel so stupid, he's probably going to hate me after this...." You ramble, starting to pace. Kylie didn't say anything for a few minutes, and then grabbed your hand.

"(y/n), for the amount of time I've known you, I've seen you go through some pretty shitty relationships, and the only time I've ever seen you get "attached" to someone straight out of a break up would be with Andy, if you even want to call it that. Devin likes to exaggerate things, you both are stubborn as hell and have to have your point made. From what I've seen in the past few days with Chris, you look the happiest you've ever been when you're with him. You look so at ease with him. Whether you admit it or not, he makes you happy. I know what your brother says, but he's only saying that to keep you from getting hurt, it's an older brother thing. By the looks of it, you make him happy too. You should probably talk about it with him." She was still holding your hand, trying to look in your eyes, but you kept avoiding her gaze.
