Just listen to that song and tell me it doesn't remind you of the life of Meliodas.

Zeldris' P.O.V.
I can see Meliodas from the trees. He's alone. I glance at the commandments. They spot Meliodas and begin to whisper to each other. Meliodas stares at me.

"Where is Esta?" I ask. I see his eyes flicker to the commandments. He could see their nervousness.

"He's dead," Meliodas says. I freeze. Dead? No no no he can't be dead. He has to be lying.

"If you don't believe me come and see," He says. I run forward straight into it the hellblaze. Meliodas follows.

"He can't be dead," I whisper. Meliodas catches me up.

"He's not dead, I'm scaring the commandments," He whispers when we are far away from the treeline. I stop dead and I punch him.

"You moron," I whisper-yell. He indicates for me to follow him. We come to a clearing. There's a bush on fire.

"No!" Meliodas yells running forward. He lifts the bush.

"What, what is it!?" I yell suddenly terrified.

"I-I left him here and now he's gone! The bush is burning, oh god he's dead!" Meliodas cries panicking. The fire is flickering around us.

"I left him, and now he's-" Meliodas' voice cracks. I hesitantly hug him. He sobs. I hear a crack and drag Meliodas forward as a tree falls right where we were stood. That makes Meliodas even more afraid. Suddenly he straightens and he's not crying anymore. He looked serious and formal, like he'd never been crying.

"What's wrong?" I say. He turns.

"Father got the news," He says. I groan as a chilling wind sweeps over the forest and the fire extinguishes, but we hear something we didn't expect.

"Mel, Zel," He yells. We spin Estarossa is running towards us. Did he do that? No he can't have done.

"You're alive,"  Meliodas says.

"I think so," He says. I walk up to him and slap him twice.

"You deserve that," I say putting my hands on my hips. Sassy I know but god he's such an idiot.

"Ow, why?" He asks rubbing his cheek.

"You gave us a heart attack," I say before slapping him again when he lowers his hand.

"And that was for?" He asks stepping back.

"I don't know I'm just happy you're alive," He says.

Estarossa's P.O.V

I laugh.

"And you hit me?" I ask confused as to why he actually cared. They never cared about me because that was a demons nature. I glanced at the bush and back to them hoping they wouldn't notice the anger in my eyes.

"Where's Doe?" Meliodas asks. I turn and start walking.

"Who's Doe?" I hear Zeldris asks.

"His friend," Meliodas replies. They follow me. (Why is this taking me so long!?) After a few minutes have passed I stop. We are the only part of the woods that was not burned. There I show them a small grave. I left them there to talk while I find quite a big rock. I don't know how I'll lift it. While I am contemplating my options, darkness coils around it and lifts. I look behind me expecting to see Meliodas or Zeldris. But nobody is there. I look at my hands and see the darkness is coming from me. I gasp quietly. I have no idea what I'm doing. Is it like telekenisis? I think about where I want the rock to go and sure enough it starts to move. I follow it. Meliodas and Zeldris look at me shocked.

"I don't know what I'm doing," I whisper I can hear that my voice is trembling. They both burst out laughing. I glare at them.

"Help me," I demand. They keep laughing.

"This isn't funny!" I yell angrily. The rock drops and I jump back causing them to laugh even harder. I huff. And wait until they stop laughing.

"So your powers have finally woke up," Meliodas says.

"Clearly," I say in a dry tone indicating the huge rock. Zeldris snickers. I glare at him. He puts his hands up in surrender.

"Did you already bury her?" Meliodas asks. I look down and nod.

"I didn't want her to get any more burned," I explain. He nods. We all sit around the rock. They teach me how to flatten it. Then we engrave Doe's name on it. A letter each. Mine is wobbly and the other two have perfect letters. Meliodas stands it up for me.

Meliodas' P.O.V
"I think that we should go now," I say. Estarossa snaps his head up and his eyes are full with anger and fear. He looks away, hoping I won't notice. But of course I do. And so does Zeldris.

"What's wrong?" He asks before I can say anything. Estarossa shakes his head.

"Nothing, let's go," he says. I don't buy it but leave it alone. He was probably angry at the Commandments and frightened that they would hurt him. But I wouldn't let them, I wouldn't let them near him until he learnt his power and mastered it. Like Zeldris' Ominous Nebula. I am walking next to Zeldris and Estarossa was walking in front. So he's the first to leave the tree line. The commandments looked at him.

"So you're alive?" Galand said.

"You ran in there like your friend died or something," Derieri jokes. I look over at Estarossa as I reach his side. He looks calm. But I aren't so sure that he won't freak and lash out with his new found powers. I can feel my father watching through my eyes. I can tell he hasn't  already seen his powers and that he isn't listening to my thoughts and feelings. So I am safe to be shocked or worried.

"Because my friend did die," He says calmly. They all look confused.

"In fact all my friends died and you thought that that was funny," He says coldly. Monspiet is the first one to catch on.

"Oh the animals," he laughs. Estarossa clenched his fists. (Different tense there because my computer and phone will not let me put the present tense) The Commandments laugh.

"Aw little baby Esta only has animals for friends and it's the end of the world because they finally snuffed it," Melascula teased. Estarossa looks at me and I shake my head.

"No. Not now," I say. Derieri scoffs.

"I thought you agreed that he was pathetic, let him 'stick' up for himself," She says sneering on the word stick Zeldris discreetly taps Estarossa so he is reassured that I don't mean what I'm about to say. I see it but make I make my father believe I'm focused on Deriere. I nod.

"Of course I do, go ahead and do what you like. Come on Zeldris, let's go," I say  tilting my head in the direction of our fathers 'throne room' as he looks like he is about to protest. He nods and silently follows me. I feel my father presence withdraw from my mind in frustration and when I do I spin around and look at Estarossa and give him a sharp nod. If the Commandments wont pay heed to my warning then let them pay the price of having Estarossa with unpredictable powers for a fight. If they die or get seriously injured, I can't say I didn't try to help. Zeldris looks up at me.

"Really?" He asks.

"Really," I confirm.

Yay finally a decent chapter. Over a thousand words! So, unless y'all love this fan fic, I'll be putting it on hold so I can work on other projects like original stories and other fan fictions.  But if yous are really enjoying this I'll just put other stories on hold so let me know. Bye xx
