Chapter Eight

Estarossa's P.O.V

"What the hell Zeldris!?" I yell. He shrugs again.

"He'll be home soon, I suggest you come up with something quickly," He says and moves to slide under my bed. I'm too slow to stop him as Meliodas storms in. I look up at him.

"Give it back," He says. His voice is cold and unnerving.

"I didn't take it, Zeldris he-" Meliodas cuts me off.

"Where the hell is he?" He says. I don't answer. "It'll be less painful if you tell me,"

"He's under the bed," I say quickly and move away to press myself against the wall. I couldn't get out because Meliodas had already sealed the door and window. What the hell is he planning?

"Zeldris, we can do this the hard way or the easy way, you decide," Meliodas says kicking his foot under my bed. Zeldris grabs his foot and yanks. Meliodas nearly fell over.

"Damn it," I hear him whisper.

"Hard way then," Meliodas says and bends over and grabs Zeldris, tearing him out from under the bed. Zeldris yelps in fear before Meliodas throws him through my bedroom window. He follows and I run to watch them. I have two choices. Jump or take the long way down and round the street and in that time let them both get seriously injured. I sigh and brush away shards of glass careful not to cut myself. I place both hands on the ledge and swing my legs over, instantly dropping and nearly yanking my arms out of their sockets. I hiss in pain and look down. There's no way I'll make that jump. I close my eyes and breath in. One more time won't hurt. I drop letting my darkness create a cushion. I slide off it and run after the sounds of fighting as my darkness retracts back into me.

When I get here Zeldris is sat in a cage of darkness and Meliodas is nowhere to be seen. I sigh and walk over to him.

"Out," he demands. I shake my head.

"Don't expect sympathy from me, Zeldris, you just nearly got us both beaten," I say.

"No, I didn't," Zeldris replies,

"Where is Meliodas?" I ask.

"Let me out and I'll tell you," Zeldris says with a huff.

"Tell me and I'll let you out," I tell him.

"I don't believe that you'll let me out,"

"I don't believe that you'll tell me,"

"I'll tell you while you let me out,"

"Okay fine,"

"Really?"

"Yes," I say moving towards the cage. I begin mimicking working on opening it. I see Zeldris nod in the corner of my eye. Like he was satisfied with what I was doing.

"So right after all this happened yeah, he just went really still and started walking away and told me he was off to dad and he didn't even tell me why!!!! I mean like how bloody rude is that!?" He says with lots of hand gestures and exaggeration. I nod and step back, away from the cage.

"Thanks, Zel," I say turning around.

"Hey! You promised!!!" He yells after me. I chuckle as I walk away.

"No, I didn't," I call back over my shoulder. Zeldris starts yelling incoherently. I just ignore him as I go out of hearing distance of him. Now it's time to go find Meliodas.

Meliodas' P.O.V.
I watch as Estarossa walks aimlessly around looking for me. I shouldn't have got angry at Zel, too late now I guess. I get angry at the least important things. I guess I miss Elizabeth. Estarossa calls out my name. The cave is too dark to see me in. I could go. He's making a fool of himself. I should go. I walk out.

"What do you want, brother?"  I ask.

"I've been looking for you for an hour and you could see me the entire time!?" He asks in quiet yell. I nod.

"Didn't want to talk," I say.

"Well I did!" He cries angrily.

"What about?" I ask.

"Don't wanna tell you now," he pouts.

"Oh is my lil baby bro sulking?" I tease. The pout he wore turned into a scowl.

"No," he says with a growl.

"Aww he is sulking, my baby bro is sulking," I say keeping my voice in that annoying high pitch that he hates.

"No I'm not!" He yells shaking his head furiously. I walk closer to him.

"Yeah you are," I whisper in his ear. He spins and looks at me. I tilt my head. I'm so confused he's not even- Estarossa suddenly whacks me on the head.

"Ow!" I yell. He laughs.

"I feel better now!" He exclaims and he turns around and skips off. I stare after utterly confused.

Again sorry for delayed updates. Been working on some awesome stuff and considering GSCE options and moving school and we are getting a new bathroom sooo been pretty stressful but I will get back on top of this. Bye guys!
