Estarossa's P.O.V.
I never really had any friends, nobody wanted to be my friend because I didn't have my demon powers and I was already 120. I don't think I could've got through that part of my life without The Forest. It was full of life. Animals and plants were all different. And they were all my friends. One of my best friends was an orphaned fawn that I had named Doe. She was very brave and always wanted to play. And then it was all gone in the blink of an eye. Now everyone wonders why I'm so unstable. It was their own fault.
2,500 years earlier
I run into The Forest, away from their leering faces and cruel words. Doe bounds out of the trees toward me. I wipe my eyes. If one thing The Forest is good for it is cheering me up. Nobody in the Demon Realm comes here. They hate beautiful things. Apart from Meliodas. But that's just because he is the Commandment of Love which makes him really busy. I'm the only non-animal here. It's peaceful. I could stay here for hours. Listening to the rustling of the rabbits, water running in the creek and Doe's little grunts.
It's been a few hours now. I better go back. Father will get angry and then something bad will follow, I just know it. I leave The Forest keeping my head low in the hope nobody will notice me, but of course, they do.
"Oi, weakling," Galand shouts. I try to ignore it.
"Don't ignore me!" He yells and throws a rock at my head. I flinch but continue walking.
"We just want to talk," Melascula giggles. Like hell. I look over my shoulder at them. They are coming closer and I can feel their power. I keep walking but I can hear them getting closer. I scowl. If they get any closer I am running. Their power is at my heels. I start running.
"You can run but you can't hide," Derriere calls. I think she means I can hide but I can't run. They can never find me but they can catch up to me. Maybe I'll just hide forever.
They had been chasing me for a while and nobody tried to intervene. I glance over my shoulder. They are laughing and throwing their power at my feet. I shake my head a dodge around a corner and straight into Meliodas. I tumble backwards. He looks down at me and says nothing until the other commandments come around the corner.
"Meliodas, hi," Monspiet says.
"What are you all doing?" He asks tilting his head.
"We are playing tag," Zeno says.
"You are all liars," I yell standing up. I go past Meliodas and storm off.
"Straight home," He calls back to me.
"Yeah whatever," I say.
"Straight home, Estarossa," He says in a more stern voice. Knowing Meliodas was the only person I could be slightly defiant with, I shrug.
"Whatever, Meliodas," I reply.
"If you're not home when I get back I'll show everyone your diary," He says. I stop.
"Please don't," I say.
"Then go home," He replies.
"I don't want to," I tell him. He clicks his tongue and I turn. He's waving my diary in the air. The other commandments are looking at intently, may be ready for him to read it. I extend my arm.
"Give it here," I say.
"I'll give it to you, if you go home," He says putting in back into his pocket.
"Okay fine," I say and leave scowling.
So I know it's short but I can't think of how to continue this chapter and I've been getting so much homework ready for GSCE's even though it's years away yet, I've been doing interviews and other side projects so I just thought I'll release this and let you all see if you like it so let me know please! Thank you for being patient.
