Type: Made-UpOnly a week ago, did we move into our new house. We were sick and tired of living in the noisy buzzing city that was too full of life for our liking, so for once we actually decided to move into the countryside, and so we went from urban to rural - which isn't a very popular choice, most people move into the city, not out of it.
Our house wasn't the prettiest pearl in the chest let's just say. It needed work and cleaning when we'd first moved in.
There were broken planks everywhere and luckily, three days after we'd bought it, it was clean and live-able.
But what I didn't know about the house, was that up in my room, under my bed, lay a beast.
I didn't tell anyone at first because all it did at the beginning was whisper and make strange sounds that were just about ignorable.
However, every day I'd awake at night, I'd unconsciously wander off into the darkness, my eyes pupil-less and white-filled.
I didn't know what had caused me to do that...until today.
"Wwwwwhhhhhhake up!" A voice ominously screeched from somewhere beneath.
I awoke, rubbing my tired eyes until I'd stained them a pinky-pain-filled-red.
"Ugh, what?" I exclaimed in a whisper.
"Get up." Spoke the same voice. "It's that time again." It continued.
"Stop telling me how to live my life, you lifeless dork," I answered back, grabbing my quilt and pulling it back up and over my shoulder.
"This time won't come again until tomorrow." It pressurised.
"I don't care - if you open your godforesaken trap one more time, I'm telling my parents that you exist - and they'll have a priest come in or something!" I threatened.
I was talking to It. It that lived under my bed.
Suddenly, I felt my body lift up off the ground along with a powerful voice that tapped into my mind but didn't speak aloud.
"I didn't want to have to do this, Himiko...but you leave me no choice," it wrathed as it entered my body, possessing me, without my permission.
It forcefully made my body float up like a helium balloon, as it silently made me float out my open bedroom door and into the dark.
It made me float down the stairs, fly down them like a rag-doll with wings, until it made me come to the front door.
Suddenly, it made me turn and float out of a window it forced open instead, and off into the darkness of the town's streets did it take me.
The wind rushed past my face like never before, I felt freezing chills run across my bones as though they were fresh from the arctic.
Then...it took me there...
...to the graveyard."Stop," pleaded my voice in my mind that was silent in reality.
