"I know the real (y/n), this isn't her," William said as he stepped out of the manor. (y/n) was approaching fast with her wand in his face.
"You fool!" She exclaimed. All the death eaters circled him outside. Tom was lurking closely. He was giving him death glares. William thought for a second and thought it would be a clever idea to provoke him.
"Does he know how you kissed me? How you grabbed me and how you-" he was cut short,
"Shut up, experlliarmus!" He shouted sending his wand in the air, disarming him.
" I knew you would do that so I called for reinforcements." He whistled and a bunch of wizards they'd never seen before came out of nowhere. The death water gasped but collected themselves. They knew how to fight aurors. Did this coward really did this? She asked herself. She sighed.
"William, how foolish of you to have called for reinforcements. Now you'll see all of them die." She complained. He shook his head in disbelief and yelled,
"Wrong choice but, your wish is my command." He nodded to the aurors and soon a battle began.

Thedora was fighting effortlessly against two aurors who tried to circle her. It was almost too easy for her. Despite their efforts in either trying to disarm her or jinx her. She managed to fight them off and (y/n) flew over and landed next to her and with her powers, shooted them over the other side of the manor in the pond. And she confiscated their wands.
"Here you go beauty, you can either collect them, or use them as drumsticks." She smiled,
"You know what, I hate those aurors with my whole heart so," she took the wands from her hand and snapped them in two like it was merely a branch. They laughed like little girls despite the chaos.
"We'd better get back to beating their asses," (y/n) told Theodora who answer with a tight smile and a nod.

"You know William, you should've just stayed where you were." She furiously stated as she stared into his blue eyes. Tom was still dueling him. He hated to admit it but he had the upper hand. (y/n) stepped in and accidentally got hit with a cuciatus curse that William meant to send to Tom. Both boys gasped as they say her curl into a ball, and began to scream with such pain that the earth beneath them stared to shake.
"You stupid elf!" Tom yelled at him, as he immobilized him. (y/n)'s state worsened and everyone looked up to her. Death eater and aurors stopped their duelling and looked at the girl in front of their eyes. Her body temperature was quickly rising at an alarming rate. And her skin was showing those cracked scars where she was emitting some glow. This time they could all feel her energy and her powers has never attained this kind of power. Theodora rushed by her side and tried to touch her, but she didn't manage as her touch was boiling hot. Her best friend was in excruciating pain and she could do nothing to help. Tom sat up. Furious. He grabbed his wand and faced the blonde haired boy, who was still frozen in place. He glanced back at (y/n) who was regaining her breath as the agony faded.
"You... should've never come here," Tom muttered at him. His face looked mortified as if he knew what was going to happen.
"Tom, don't... Tom! Tom!" She tried to persuade him, but the deed had already been done. The air resonated with the avada kedavra, and the jet of green light that flew out of his wand and hit William in the chest. No one dared to speak. (y/n) softly gasped as she helped herself up. This was it. The moment she dreaded the most. The sacrifice.

With a swift movement, (y/n) flew to Tom, and grabbed his neck. Around her this cloud of flowing and coursing energy surrounded them. All of the dark colors enveloped them in some kind of balm. She was practically glowing at this stage, and Tom didn't understand what what happening to her. She coldly and furiously stated into his soul. She gripped harder and he asked,
"What are you doing? (y/n)? I killed him for you! You can't just act out on your temper all the time!" He looked at her and gripped at her hand and tried to claw her hold. But she did not budge.
"Tom, do you remember the vow we swore to, when you took me to Salazar Slytherin's chamber?"
He looked bewildered, and said
"Well yes I remember! Let me go!" His skin stared to redden from the heat.
"Tom, listen to me love, we both broke our vows. I cheated on you and you were never here for me. Don't you realise? We're dead?" Realisation hit him as he remembered the stupid and naive vows. He silently looked at her but said nothing.
"Tom I'm here to end the pain, we're dying. Maybe we'll see each other in the afterlife, if there is one. I really hope I share it with you. There's no one I'd rather spend it with." He cracked a small smile despite the pain.
"(y/n), you'll kill them." He simply said. And she peered over to Theodora who was sobbing in Abraxas' arm. All the aurors disappeared and all was left was the loyal followers.

"As long as we're together right?" Asked (y/n) to Tom

"As long as we're together right?" Asked (y/n) to Tom. One last time she looked at her best friend's eyes, and cracked her a smile. Go to the barn, the one where we all went, to make our horcruxes. She telepathically told her. She friend nodded and begged her not to do it. There was no other way.
"But I have all my horcruxes," Tom said, as he clung to a bit of hope.
"You destroyed them, when we made love, you felt deep remorse and that was deep enough to break your soul free." He didn't say anything. He knew that he couldn't be the Dark wizard he promised the world he could be. But he was with her, and he promised her he would be. Until the very end, so that mattered the most.
(y/n) sighed and began to take a deep breath when she was interrupted by Tom who said, barely above a whisper,
"I love you."
She closed her eyes. And then, everything went black.

Until this day, nobody understood (y/n)'s power and what her death amounted to. To everyone's surprise, Tom survived the death, but he was reborn. A different man than he was yesterday. No one knows what happened to (y/n). She just disappeared after a white flash blinded all of them. No trace. Nothing left behind. Tom has never cried. Never. But (y/n)'s death left him devastated and he sobbed for days on end. Strangely, he told his close followers that his whole visioning became black and white. Literally. There was an legend that goes that, when a soul mate dies, the other half's world becomes black and white.

Tom clinged to the last bit of what was left of his deceased lover. Clothes with her scent still imprinted on it. Her wand that he dared not to touch. No one ever heard of the old Salazar Slytherin. But people definitely heard about the chaos that erupted as Lord Voldemort killed everyone in the streets. The medicine to his grief was killing as he tried to ease the pain and the memories of his beloved lover.

"You're early," said a grim voice. It was smooth and gentle, but it was bitter and harsh. (y/n) turned around and smiled,
"Shut up and just dance with me Death".
