Chapter 13

Cole's pov

I watch Kai verbally fight Jay as we all sit around the dinner table.

I roll my eyes then I rub my eyes a small bit and I bite my lip as I keep feeling something clawing at my skin.

I look down at my arm as everyone starts to eat and talk to each other.

I look down at the food and I bite my lip as I see dark scales forming on my skin and I touch them only to feel pain shoot up my arm and someone laughing.

I look around and I slowly get up as I head to my room without saying anything which got me some odd glances and looks.

I head to my room but I stop when I hear a voice hiss "no" the voice echos "outside" it hisses out .

I go outside into the cold night air and I look around as I see the inky black sky clear of the stars and the moon.

The voice hisses more and I close my eyes as I listen to it "change".
I turn into my dragon form and I roar loudly.

I spread my wings as I look around in fear and I bare my teeth as I hear movement.

A loud gasp makes me look at the door I just came through, I see a red smudge standing there with the look of fear on his face.

The hissing voice calls out "not him" and I look away as the the smudge tries to get close.

Kai's pov

I watch cole flap his wings and roars as he tries to fly, his scales are a duller colour as he roars more.

I run over as he gets ready to launch himself into the air, I clings into his neck and he roars.

I drag him down to the ground as I watch him closely as he struggles against me.

He slowly calms down and he watches me as he sniffs the air a lot .

We stare at each other for a while and Cole let's out a whimper as he goes back into his human form and he gasps softly as he looks around with unfocused eyes.

"Cole calm down" I say softly as he squirms under me, he perks up when he hears my voice "Kai?"

I nod a small bit and he gives me a weak smile "what happened ?" I ask and he scrunches his eyebrows together.

"I can only remember a voice hissing at me telling me what to do then my vision was blurry " he whispers out and I nod.

"Well you are shedding so that might be good" I say softly and he watches me as I get off him.

I stretch out my hand to help him up and he blushes a bit as he grabs my hand so I can pull him up .

He smiles shyly and I smile back "thanks " he whispers and I keep ahold of his hand. "Kai, you can let go" he says softly and I blush as I look down at his hand.

"What happens if I don't want to " I say equally as soft as him and he bites his lip "umm.. well you can keep holding it then?" He mutters as he blushes more, worse that my red gi.

I softly grab his chin and he looks up at me, his pale skin glowing in the moon light, his lips look so soft and kissable.

I lean in slowly and I close my eyes as I force my lips onto his, I kiss him softly and I feel him meekly kissing back.

After a few minutes, we pull away from each other as we gasp for air, I open my eyes and I see his red face "wow" I whisper as my lips tingle, crying out to get his lips back on mine.

He looks down then he looks at me and smiles a small bit "my first kiss" he whispers and I smile happily "I'm glad, I got that honour" I say happily and he chuckles.

"You might get more" he says with a smirk then pulls away to walk back into the temple happily.

I watch him walk away and I chuckle happily and smile a lot "such a tease" I mutter and I head inside as well .

My first time writing this in 2020 ... I'm so sorry that I was away for so long, I fell out of the fandom for a while then my mate -Seith- dragged me back in.

Also I redesigned Cole as a dragon, he looks a lot better now.
