Chapter Two
Reagan
Come Monday, Rea was no closer to finding her next story than she'd been before.
Walking in to her homeroom, Clarissa jumped her with questions, "Did you write anymore? I just have to know if Alexander, had finally figured out that Damien is from another planet." she sighed, her big blue eyes kind of glazing over.
"No, I'm totally blocked. The only thing I can think of is to start a new book. Except there again I have no idea what to write. Any ideas?" Rea asked hopefully.
Clarissa loved to give her suggestions. Of course, that meant if Reagan ever made any actual money off of it that Clarissa would get a percentage.
"Ooh Ooh, remember that one time that we started to write that book about the two sisters, who were princesses? We should totally finish that one this time." she bounced with excitement.
Rea remember the book, and it had been a good idea, but they were thirteen at the time, and honestly it had a poor storyline. They'd only created every girl's fantasy of being abducted by a gorgeous highwayman, and being swept away by the romance.
"Yeah, maybe" Rea was saved from having to say anything further, by the bell ringing.
Mr. Lawrence walked in, their British Literature teacher, and began "Part, Fools! Put up your swords, you know not what you do." he said dramatically sweeping his arm across the room.
'Aww he actually thinks that the class cares, how optimistic.'
Smiling, he asked, "Now who can tell me who said that?"
Most of the class looked at him blankly, but Clarissa and Rea knew exactly who'd said it. They had not only read Romeo and Juliet, but had seen every movie version they could get their hands on. Just as they were about to raise their hands, a deep voice answered from the doorway.
"What art thou drawn among these heartless hinds?" the voice paused dramatically, "Turn thee, Benvolio, look upon thy death." the voice was low, it sounded evil, dark and completely sexy.
Mr. Lawrence smiled and turned to look at the door that had just opened.,
"very good, but please inform the class who said it."
The owner of the voice laughed. What stepped through the doorway could possibly be her active imagination, but if it was, Boy I'm good! With eyes the color of emeralds, pitch black hair, he reminded Rye of her favorite rock singer. All in a addition to a knowledge of Shakespeare.
He was quite possibly the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen in her life, she checked her chin to make sure she wasn't drooling. "It's Benvolio and Tybalt Act 1 Scene 1 of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet." a british accented voice answered flashing perfect white teeth.
"Exactly right, Mr. Bight! Right, Bight ha that rhymed." their teacher laughed at his own joke.
"Class this is our new student, Christian Bight, I'm pretty sure he doesn't though." Mr. Lawrence laughed at his joke.
"I wouldn't bet on it," Christian said, flashing another killer smile.
Most of the girls in the class giggled. Reagan however, was lost in her own thoughts. She couldn't help but feel like it sounded familiar. It was as though she'd read this situation in a book.
Especially if Christian turned out to secretly be a vampire, but come on everyone was doing vampires now.
"You're a real charmer aren't you Mr. Bight?" Mr. Lawrence commented dryly. Christian just grinned at the teacher.
