Helena cried into Draco's chest, as she scrunched up his shirt, the blonde haired boy rubbing his hand up and down her back while the other petted her hair soothingly. Finally after 20 minutes, her body stopped shaking and her breathing normalised, her thoughts which were jumbled when she heard the song finally back on track. She moved away from Draco, her bright green eyes piercing into his steely grey ones, "How dare you?" She said quietly, he kept quiet. "HOW DARE YOU!" she screamed, eliciting a tiny flinch from him, but not enough to stop him from staring at her. "Why Draco? Why? You were the one who got bored of me? You were the one cheating? You were the one who wanted Pansy in the first place! And now you and her aren't together anymore so you decide to run after me again? Why? Was it because you smelt me in your Amortentia? Or was it because I remembered how you like your tea?" Draco stared at Helena in shock, "Yes I know about that, I may be out of it when I do my homework, but not so out of it! I loved you Draco!" She screamed, her tears streaming down her tanned cheeks. Draco stared at her, his eyes glistening as unshed tears made it's way to the surface, did she really not love him anymore? "And you know what's worse? My heart still beats your name like its a religion, it still calls out to you like you were it's only way home, and what do I get out of it? Nothing, you got bored of me Draco, I didn't get bored of you, and whatever you are trying to do with my brother and my friends, just stop." She said, her pleading voice cracking him just as she opened the door and ran out of the room. Draco finally broke down, his tears streaming down his face as he realised what he had done, how he had lost the one woman who'd love him no matter what. Helena made it halfway to the room of Requirements till she bumped into a hard chest. The smell of aftershave and thick hair products making her realise it was her godfather Sirius. The girl hugged her godfathers neck tightly, her body wracking with sobs as the dog animagus kissed her head over and over, trying to calm her erratic breathing down.

Draco and the others didn't see Helena till the next day at the muggle studies class. She was sitting quietly at the front, her hand elegantly sprawling on the piece of parchment, as the teacher walked in. Draco made his way to the back of the class, his view clear to see the girl quietly breathing as everyone spoke around her. "So, as you remember, our Muggle Studies Homework was to create a poem, just like the ones we know of from the muggle world. It could be a sonnet or anything so who wants to come up first?" Everyone was silent as the teacher sighed, finally resting her eyes on the star student. "Helena would you like to read your poem?" {FROM NOW IT WILL BE A BIT CLICHE LIKE 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU} "Sure, I-I would." She made her way to the front her eyebrows knitted together as she adjusted her glasses on her nose before looking down at her parchment.

I hate the way you talk to me
And the way you cut your hair
I hate the way you ride my broom
I hate it when you stare

I hate your big dumb combat boots
And the way you read my mind
I hate you so much that it makes me sick
It even makes me rhyme

I hate the way you're always right
I hate it when you lie
I hate it when you make me laugh
Even worse when you make me cry

I hate the way you're not around
And the fact that you didn't call
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you
Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

As she finished the poem her eyes rested on Draco before she ran out of the classroom, her tears streaming down her face, Harry, Ron, Blaise and Neville promptly following her. Draco stared at the doorway where she exited, every memory he had with her running through his mind. Like the first time he met her, how she stood up to him without being rude, her quite voice and lovely eyes. And when he asked her out, the way her eyes sparkled with excitement and shock, the picnics they took together and the many kisses they shared during 3rd year. As he thought of everything, his legs carried him out the door, he transformed into his animagus, which, funnily enough, was a pure white ferret. He ran through the quiet hallway, finding the boys and Hermione, whom they must have found, searching for Helena. He scurried down to the courtyard, his eyes scanning the grounds till it fell upon a black shaggy haired dog resting on the trees roots. He quietly made his way forward, the dog silently acknowledging him with a lift of the head, before going back to staring at the Black Lake. Draco or as Helena had named him Whiskers, crawled onto Snuggles head, resting his body on hers as he sighed. He didn't know how long they both sat there before he crawled off her head and transformed back, lifting her head to his lap and resting her on it. The grim nuzzled unintentionally into the boys stomach, her tail wagging slowly as Draco chuckled. He ran his fingers through her fur, rubbing at her back and neck, knowing where exactly she liked to be touched. The dog silently rumbled as she fell asleep, Draco following her into Morpheus's realm of dreams. When the others found them. Helena had somehow transformed back, her head resting on Draco's lap, while his hand was entwined with hers.
