I was sitting in my room, on my computer working on applications for college. I haven't applied for Livewire yet. I wanted to, but I don't think I'm perfect at dancing. I think I'm good. Not perfect. Nelly walked into my room with the twins following her.
"What are you doing sunshine?" She asked softly. "Filling out applications for colleges." I said. "Oh, what are you going in for?" She asked curiously. "Dance." I said. "How many more do you have to go?" She asked. "One." I said with a sigh after.
"Which one is that?" She asked curiously, tilting her head to the side. I was quiet for a minute, knowing exactly what she will tell me. "Livewire University. I don't think I'm going to apply for that one though. There's other people who would kill to be in my spot that are better dancers than me." I said.
"If they asked you for your acceptance then your an amazing dancer. I've seen you dance so apply to it." She said. "I want to be like mom, but it feels wrong, trying to fill her legacy." I said. "Your mother would want you to live on her legacy though. Dancing was air to her and I can tell dancing is air to you. It's what kept her alive and keeps you alive. She would want you to carry on her destiny." Nelly said.
I nodded and she kissed my head before leaving. I started to fill out the application for the college before I shut my computer down and laid down. Tomorrow I have dance practice after school.

I shut my locker after making sure I had everything. Callum and Mason were about to pass me as they laughed about something. But, Mason saw me when he opened his eyes. "Hey there Shine girl." He said, it's what everyone has called me since yesterday when we actually had a dance performance and apparently I helped out a lot.
"Stop calling me that." I said annoyed. "Where you heading? We can give you a ride." Mason said as Callum was leaned up against the lockers. "I don't need a ride, thank you though. I was actually heading to dance practice." I said.
"Sorry, but Shine girl, you don't need no practice. That was a one hundred million percent performance last night." Mason said. "Bye Callum." I said while ignoring Mason's apology face. "Bye Octavia." Callum said amused. I gave him a high five and ducked under Mason's outstretched arm. "Oh come on Octavia. I was only kidding." He whined. I continued on walking, here comes dance class.

I looked at the clock on my phone. I stayed later than everyone else because I wanted to dance longer even though they said that I didn't need practice.
It was almost ten at night. I sighed, I know that I am on my own to get home tonight. I could text Mason or Callum, but I rather not bother them. I sighed once again and left the dance studio.
I walked out of school and saw Callum leaned up against his car. Mason was lying on the car and I think he was asleep.
I sighed and looked down, just going to act like I didn't see them. I just continued walking while I looked at my phone. Going through all the emails I have.
I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pull me back and I squealed in fear. I heard a deep chuckle that I realized was Callum's. "We are giving you a ride home. Mason and I, don't want you walking home alone." He said.
"I'll be fine." I mumbled sleepily as I leaned back into his chest. He is so warm and cuddly. "No. I'm taking you home. Your knackered. Why would you work that hard in dancing?" He asked worried.
"I lost track of time. It happens all the time." I mumbled. He turned me around and picked me up like I weighed nothing. I had my legs wrapped around his waist, my arms wrapped around his neck and my face hidden in his neck.
He had a hand on my ass and one on my back. I didn't really care though. Something about Callum appeals to me more than other guys that seem cute.
I was being set down and I heard Callum's hushed voice with Mason. He probably thought I fell asleep. I mean I think I am asleep, but I'm just kind of between sleep.
"Dude your whipped." Mason said quietly. "I've never felt anything for a girl. And she, I'm willing to do anything to keep her protected and safe and healthy. I just want to care for her and love her. But, mate. I don't know what to do." Callum said in a hushed tone. The stress was evident in his voice.
I'd be freaking out if I weren't so knackered. I felt that feeling of being watched and I knew it was them. I curled up into fetal position to keep warm. I was shivering slightly, but I was almost asleep.
It's not the first time that they have brought me home. I tend to loose track of time a lot. I felt something laid across me and I felt warm. I curled up a little more underneath whatever it was on me because I wanted to stay warm.
"Now you officially whipped. You never let anyone touch your leather jacket and you just laid it on her to keep her warm when I could have got my blanket for her." Mason said.
"Shush mate, she is asleep." Callum whispered harshly. "Sorry." Mason mumbled. It was quiet and I felt myself drifting off. "I'm going to call her aunt and I'm going to see if it's fine if she just stays at the house tonight. It's late and she was exhausted and now she's passed out." Callum said. I heard Mason hum in response. I felt their eyes on me still and it made me uncomfortable.
