Chapter Two

Percy's point of view

As I sat down for lunch with my friends Annabeth my best friend Leo, Jason, Piper, Hazel and Frank and Grover. I brought out my container packed full of blue cookies, I baked them especially for the first day of school.

"Yum," Leo said immediately taking two, of course the Latino Santa elf would be the first when it came to free food. The rest all grabbed two, but Jason took three as he had forgotten his lunch, smart ass, we talked about holidays, and Leo told us about visiting Spain with his twin sister Carmen, honestly I don't know how those guys are related.

"Why doesn't your sister hang with us?" Jason asked.

"I honestly don't know she's just really loyal to that Nico kid, they have been friends for ever." Leo stated.

"He's known as the loner kid or bad boy, depending on who you ask." Hazel piped up.

"I was just wondering because she looks like a lot of fun." Jason said, looking over I could see she had Nico's head in head lock while Thalia and Will were laughing.

"Can you call her over so we can talk?" asked Jason, I honestly don't know why he was so interested in this girl.

"But what do we say?" I asked.

"I have an idea. Carm." Leo shouted across the hall.

"Carm come over here I need to ask you something," the cheerleader stood up and started walking towards us.

"What is it Lee?" she asked.

"You see I and Jason are having an argument, I want the last cookie but so does Jason." He said gesturing to Jason, she nodded.

"My argument is that he has had three, but he doesn't have any lunch, but I have only had two so who should have it?" asked Leo.

"That's an easy one." She said. Both guys looked eagerly waiting.

"I will have it." She said grabbing the cookie before the boys could protest, and took a bite. Everyone started laughing.

"Mm, delicious Percy." She said.

"Thanks." I said

"Nico has to try this, he loves sweet stuff." she said

"Really him?" she nodded

"See you guys later." She then waved goodbye and walked towards her table. I looked over to see the brown haired Italian beauty, Nico staring at me he then blushed, he was always so unreadable this was different for him and why was he blushing?

Carmen's point of view

As I walked back to my table I only Nico, Will and Thalia must have left, blushing and looking behind me, I saw Percy turn away to talk to Frank. Oh, Nico has had a crush on Percy for so long but he keeps going into denial whenever I try to tell him, boys!

"Hey I saw you watching Percy." I stated, he blushed even redder, and because he had such pale skin it was quite obvious.

"What... I don't know what you are talking about." He said crossing his arms, I nudged him

"Yeah you do." I said, "and don't try to deny it I know you have a crush on Percy, I can see why though he has a strong build and he isn't so bad looking." I said, if I didn't have my heart set on someone else I would probably like him but my feelings for this person where to strong.

"You really think that?" he asked.

"I guess." I said, "but you guys would look so cute together." I said and he blushed once again.

"Yeah, well it's never going to happen he is so straight, and probably dating Annabeth."

"You never know, I could ask Leo on your behalf wither Percy is free, and whither he is straight or well you know." I said.

He looked at me with hopeful eyes, "You would really do that for me?" I nodded my head

"Anything for my brother from another mother." I said wrapping my arm around him. He was happy I could tell from the way his posture changed. "We have sports after this." I said, he groaned "it won't be that bad, besides Percy's there." I said teasing him, he groaned again.

"You are never going to let that go are you." I shook my head and we both laughed.

Percy's point of view (a couple of days later)

Me and Jason entered science lab we were they only ones in the class, from our group as we waited for the teacher. Mr. Collins entered the class and explained that we would be doing s project in groups of 3, me and Jason automatically partnered up

"Hey guys," I said waving towards Nico and Carmen, "would one of you like to be a part of our group?" I asked they both looked at each other.

"You go Carmen, I'm sure I can find a different group." Nico said.

"If you're sure?" he nodded and walked off to find another group, and Carmen turned towards us.

"So you want to make a start?" she asked, we sat down at the tables and immediately started working on our project if I was just with Jason we would be mucking around but since Carmen was there he decided he would actually try.

"So Carmen can I get your number so we can work on when we are going to work?" Jason asked I think there were some other reasons behind it but I didn't but in.

"sure." she said and they exchanged numbers,

"I will text you all the days me and Percy are free and we can meet up some time and work on it." He said she nodded and headed towards her locker to go home, finally the day was done only one more day until the weekend.

Nico's point of view

Percy and Jason had just asked who wanted to join their group I looked at Carmen and knew that I had to let her have this, she might not know but I know who she likes and it's none other than Jason.

I looked around the groups seeing who needed another person, that was when I saw two boys I awkwardly went up to them and asked to be in there group, they said sure they said their names were Axel and Hunter.

Finally the bell rang and it was time to go home thank god I was done for this time, tomorrow was Friday and the weekend I was going to Carmen's house on Friday to stay for the weekend as both our parents were out and we thought this would be a great time to catch up on our favorite show and of course eat Ice cream.

"Hey Neek's." I heard a voice from behind me it was Carmen.

"Hi." I responded.

"Umm... so Leo also invited someone to stay the weekend at our house, but umm... we will be doing separate things during the day but umm..." she seemed so nervous.

"That's fine, who is it?" I asked

"Umm... well Percy Jackson." She replied.

"Well shit."

"Please still come I don't want to be there with Percy and Nico that would be so awkward." She said

"Plus we already got everything ready." She stated she was practically pleading with me.

"Fine, fine." I said, "But I get to pick what movie to start off with." I said.

"That's fine. "She said laughing. Well now I have the weekend to worry about.
