Chapter Seven

Angelica's P.O.V.

"You still okay?" Hugo asked me while we're here in the middle of the field, having our 'punishment'.

Take note, it's scorching hot now, and this is what they told us to do, to squat in the middle of the field.

"You need water?" he asked again.

"How can you do that when we're still like this?" I said.

All of us in our section received this punishment when we didn't pass our assignment which we forgot to do because of other school activities.

"You're already full of sweat" he said, I rolled my eyes because of it, he's at it again, overreacting on things.

"It's already obvious Hugo" I said to him but he just smiled a bit.

I closed my eyes and tried to ignore the pain of my legs. We been here for about 30 minutes I guess.

"Angelica, can you still do it? Namumutla ka na" he said sounding so concern, I looked at him and smiled. I can still handle it, I guess.

Since I was young I accepted the fact that physical activities will never be for me, also this one I'm doing right now. I easily gets tired and plus the fact that I'm not fond of those activities, so I guess this is my lucky day because I can go on with this.

"Okay, that's already enough, go back to your room now" our teacher said to us.

Instead of standing up properly we all sat tiredly.

"I can no longer feel my legs" Alliyah said exaggeratedly. Gosh, why so O.A?

"Let's all go back to room now, it's getting hotter here" Greg said to all of us.

"Can you stand up?" I heard Hugo said to me.

"Let me help you" he said before I can even answer. He holds my hands and walk with me.

"Drink this Angelica" he said, I just look at him confusedly.

"You're the one who should drink that right? That's yours" I said to him.

"I want to give it to you, you look so exhausted, I can handle myself don't worry" he said then smiled.

I take his bottled water and drink only half of it.

"Here, drink too" I said and smile. He pinches my cheeks while drinking water.

"We should start implementing a rule about PDA, you guys are abusing your freedom to hang out with one another" Greg said that made me laugh.

"We're not a couple Greg, plus this is just a plain act lout of concern" I said reasoning out.

"Don't fool us, Angelica" Greg teasingly said to us.

"Soon Angelica" I am shock when I heard Hugo's voice behind me.

"What?" I said while raising one of my eyebrows but it went down when I saw him clench his jaw.

Is he mad at me?

He only do that when he's mad, it's his way to control his anger. So, why is he like this now?

"You look like you don't want that to happen, do you think I confessed for us to only stay like this?"

"Hey, what are you saying?" I said, he just shook his head, back to his old usual cold expression.
