Growing Pains

To ache

To feel the burn in your limbs

To lie down and cry and call for your mother

When the growing pains grow too much

Remember tomorrow morning they'll be gone

But until then

Feel free to curl into a ball and cry and

desperately try to Will the pain away

Because at this young age that's your ache

This is your worst pain

But growing pains come in many different ways

We all grow through pain

Through aches in our body to aches in our head to aches in our hearts

Pain never fades

Just changes

Like a powerful energy, pain is transferred

From parents to child

From husband to wife

From stranger to stranger

Pains ever changing

To Ache

To hurt in your heart, to experience an emotional passionate pain

To hurt in your head, to live in pain, to feel it everyday, to experience a never ending permanent pain

To hurt in your body, to be burnt, to be cut to experience a physically present pain

What ever way you ache

Remember we're all giving others our pain, like some kind of fucked up game of tag

The game never ends it just keeps getting passed

So be thankful for your growing pains, be thankful for being sad

Because someday the pain will stop

And that will be your last
