I know it happened too fast but I just couldn't help it, plus I got a go-ahead from Zoe the expect.

(I just hope it works out)

I told my friend Zoe about John, after I called him two days later after he asked me too. I wanted to wait at least a week before giving him a call but I just couldn't, honest truth is, I was charmed so I had too. Before he thought I was not interested, then change his mind.

(I just couldn't let him slip off like that)

It has been two weeks since John and I been seeing each other. But something was just odd about John, I was just having a bad feeling about him. Everything was smooth and sweet, but I was not sure if I even wanted to continue.

He was handsome, chivalrous and I liked him to the fullest, but my subconscious was telling me the opposite. He was indeed romantic and he always made me laugh.

(The past two weeks have been really pleasant for me but-but. There's just too many buts in my mind)

"Is this normal? He didn't do anything unpleasant but here I am having doubts, is there something wrong with me?" I asked my colleague Nancy as I creased my forehead.

(I was confused)

"Trust me it's normal, I remember when I broke up with Jake"

Jake was her ex cheating boyfriend.

"I was insecure after what he did to me, but trust me, girl. time heals, you'll be alright, John is a good man" she said with a comforting expression.

(I'm supposed to be finishing my work but instead, I'm worrisome, I should just go with the flow and see where my journey with John takes me too)

"I think you're right" I nodded.

(I needed to hear that)

It was a few minutes before our lunch break and John had asked to take me out for lunch again that day. His workplace was just a few blocks away from my workplace, so since we've met and gone out for a few dates in the past two weeks we have been going for lunch together.

"You look good," he remarked when he saw me coming down the building exit door. "Thank you, you do too, as always" I acknowledged with a smile before I gave him my hand as he lead me to his rage Rover Evoque.

(This hand thing THOUGH, so sweet)

I climbed up the car after he had opened the door for me and said "there you go princess" then closed the door for me. "What do you wanna eat today," he asked me immediately after he has entered from his driver's side and started the engine.

(Princess has been my name since)

"How about Burger today, burger king maybe?" I answer asked as I pulled a shoulder and contorted. I was not in the mood for fork and knifes in swanky restaurants, but an easy-going atmosphere. He had been taking me to fancy expensive restaurants for the past two weeks. now it was my turn to take him to my kind of vibes.

(Simple)

I was a simple person, not that I didn't like fancy things but it cant be always."Whatever the princess ask, it shall be so" he said, as he gave me one of those playful romantic smiles, I returned the smile as we drove to BURGER KING

Nothing much really happened on that day, we went to burger king and ordered our lunch, we had different topics and conversations. he told me about his business trip that he was going to take with some of his colleagues, the upcoming weekend which was six days to go.
