With another burst of laughter, a tiny blue dragon appears from thin air. Holding it's tiny left hand under its chin, it looks at the four companions. "First things first, which of you adorable creatures has confiscated my bed?"

Face turning red, Hycis reaches under the fur hide, pulling out the tiny bed and handing it to the dragon. As soon as it touches it's hand the creature zooms off to the back of the cave.

Stepping in front of Hycis, Melteid puts her hand on her hip not sure if she should be amused or mad. "What have you gotten us into?", she asks enjoying the flustered look on his face. Before she had a chance to continue teasing him, the dragon zoomed back in the room.

"Now where was I", It pondered out loud. "Oh, yes!"

Straightening it's back and stretching it's grin wide. "Did you like my prank?! Doesn't matter! I sure did!", he exclaimed in between giggles. "Say, thanks for clearing out my home. That pesky bear moved in ages ago. It was sure fun pranking him, though. I owe you one." He looked at the group, knowingly.

Seeing this as the perfect opportunity to get some direction, Farryn stepped forward and tells it of their problem.

Looking very amused the dragon scurries past them to the cave opening. "That's a pretty pathetic riddle, but we Fae love riddles!," It said excitedly. "I can point you in a general direction. As they gathered their things the dragon tells them to follow the Sun and make sure to use their ears as they venture deeper into the woods.

"Thank you for helping us." Melteid bows, waving a farewell to the dragon.

"Bye! Oh, just so you know, whoever wrote that", he said pointing to the note in Farryn's hand "may be trying to kill you." Bursting into a fit of laughter it made its way deeper into the cave.

"Well isn't that nice", said Drogor starting off on the way the tiny dragon pointed.

"Wait!", hollered Melteid. "My pot should be dry. Let's get some clean water."

Making their way back to the creek, the crew picked up a few sticks here and there to make a small fire to boil water.

Tossing all the sticks into a pile, Melteid filled the pot with water and Farryn got to work with the fire. "We really don't have time for this", Drogor blurted, plopping himself down next to Hycis. Holding the bear pelt in his lap he pulled out a handful of jerky, tossing a piece to each of his companions.

Sitting next to Drogor, Melteid challenged his statement. "How do we not have time for this?" She locked eyes with him, popping the jerky into her mouth. "If we don't drink water we will never make it out of here. Hydration is important. If we drink the water straight from the creek, there's a big chance we will get sick. It'll be cooled off in a bit. Relax. Eat."

"I'd rather not leave that pot behind", Farryn says, pondering. Grabbing vines from a nearby tree she wrapped them around the pelt and tied it off making a rucksack of sorts. "There."

Each of them drank from the pot of water twice before it was empty.

"Ahhh. I love warm water", Hycis exasperated with mock delight. "Okay, we should head out.... after I pee. Turn around", he said wiggling in place.

After the four were done with toiletries, they set off, following the sun.

They walked. On and on they walked for what seemed like days, yet the Sun stayed high in the sky. Clouds drifted in the sky, giving sparse moments of shade. The forest has seemed empty, devoid of anything, save a few bugs slithering and crawling in the dirt beneath their feet.

The sound of thunder shook the companions from their daydreams. "Fuck.", Drogor blurted, looking to the grey clouds that appeared in the sky. Looking around for shelter, he realized just how empty it was. "Well, if I had somewhere to put this stuff we could use this to shield us", he said pulling the pelt from his back.
