Dec grinned as he ducked another one of Ant's punches countering with a punch to his ribs. He had finally consented to actively participating in spars when Philip insisted that it was for the better and Ant had promised to wear protective gear so that he wouldn't get hurt. Ant didn't show him any such courtesy though and sparred with him and Philip alike though Philip commented that he hit him much lighter than he did the older man.

Catching onto Ant's wrist, he pulled him off balance and delivered a hard blow to his shoulder that knocked him to the ground. He had a few seconds to revel over his partial victory when Ant hooked his legs around his ankles and pulled him to the ground as well. He felt Ant scrambling to pin him down, but he used his ability to wriggle from his grasp to make it a hard task, the two of them rolling about on the mat as each tried to gain an upper hand. Ant suddenly pulled away from him and rolled away, getting to his feet in one motion. Declan followed, albeit it slower and took on a defensive stance, waiting for Ant to make the next move. He could see Ant's smirk from his position and that made him even more nervous; Ant only donned that when he was planning to finish the fight.

Suddenly, Ant charged forward and lashed out with a punch that was easily intercepted, but he slammed his palm against Dec's chest, knocking him back a few steps. Seeing his prey weakened, Ant removed all the stops and used his trademark move. Dec's eyes widened in surprise as Ant leapt up right before he felt the hard pressure of a foot against his chest and the next thing he knew, he was staring up at a clear sky in a daze as Ant hooted from somewhere out of the line of his vision.

"And the jump kick ends the fight again," Philip voice broke in and he was suddenly lifted up slightly into a sitting position as he tried to remember what he had been doing.

"Jesus...." Dec wheezed, "kick...lethal..."

"And that's why I use it," Ant grinned as he squatted in front of Dec, "it's one of the first moves I learnt from Philip."

"And you learnt it well," Philip smiled, ruffling his hair, "I haven't seen anyone use that kick so well."

"Go me!" Ant laughed, helping Dec to his feet, "you okay?"

"I will be," The smaller Geordie rubbed his chest, wincing a little. Ant's smile turned devious as Dec felt another hand, not his own, creep up and rest against the centre of the ache.

"Need me to make you feel better?" Ant purred, low enough only for him to hear, but Philip gathered what that look meant and beat a hasty retreat, leaving the two of them alone.

"The ache's getting a little lower now," Dec smirked back, leaning back against the mat and pulling Ant on top of him.

"Well, we can't have that," Ant placed a light kiss on his jaw, "But we should probably go inside for that."

"Give me a minute then," Dec closed his eyes and let himself relax, feeling the throb in his chest gradually fade into a twinge.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Ant asked, guilt present in his voice "I didn't hit you too hard, did I?"

"Let's just say that I'm now completely sure that I will definitely pity the people receiving that kick."

"I'm sorry," Ant murmured, looking very apologetic, "I didn't mean-"
