chapter 5

'Dua lipa is Bae ;)'

Blithe's POV

The kiss itself is like a dream, her lips warm and firm against mine. Our lips move in sync, while Jade presses me up against the wall. My hands find their way around her neck an attempt to bring our bodies closer, which was saying something because we were already pressed flush against each other.

Her eyes stare back at mine with such fierce passion and determination, it had my legs feeling like jelly. Her hazel eyes are blown and glossy, her cheeks rosy and hair sexily disheveled. I shut my eyes, feeling overwhelmed by nothing and everything at the same time. I rake my right hand through her soft strands of hair at the nape of her neck.

I gasp at the feeling of her tongue brushing against my bottom lip. She takes the opportunity of my mouth being open as a chance for her to hastily invade my mouth, our tongues clashing in a frenzy of emotions. The taste of alcohol, chocolate and something completely Jade invades my taste buds, driving me insane.

The faint sound of music and chatter from downstairs becomes a low hum as all my attention focuses on Jade. That and the thundering beat of my heart, beating frantically against my chest. I'm pretty sure Jade could hear it and if it weren't for the alcohol running through my body, I would have been too embarrassed to function.

My mind in a haze of Jade, Jade, Jade.

Her warm hands roam my back, making shivers wrack my body. I part my lips from her to try and take in some much needed air, and Jade takes it as a chance to latch her lips on my neck, sucking marks into my flesh. Her hand grasps the back of my thigh and lifts it to wrap around her waist.

"J-jade please." I don't know what I was begging for, to be honest. My mind was in a haze of lust and alcohol (a terrible combination in my opinion.)

"God you're so pretty blithe. So god damn sinful." She whispers huskily against my ear. Her tongue curls around the shell of my ear and nibbles on it lightly.

I lose control of myself as a grasp Jade close, breathing harshly against her neck. I breath in her scent and latch my mouth on the spot where her neck and shoulder meet, sucking lightly on her warm skin. I hear her moan and she grasps my thigh, hiking it higher around her waist. It gives me a thrill so I bite, lick and suck until there's purple bruises littering her neck.

When I open my eyes I see the top of a blonde head emerging from the stairs.

And just like that the kiss was over. I became aware of my surroundings as it all came tumbling down on me like a pile of bricks.

Jade kissed me.

This was wrong, Jade was obviously too drunk to even know what she was doing and I was to drunk for this.

I placed my hands on her shoulder and push her away, or tried at least. Jades grip on me wasn't letting up.

"Stop! Jade, stop. No." I gasp, feeling my throat closing up. She finally lets me go and I feel cold, missing her warmth already.

"What's wrong? Blithe?" She murmurs, her words slurring slightly.

When I see over Jade's shoulder, Kate's face and wide eyes come into view and I panic.

"Kate?"
