Sophie's pov

"I was just stopping by to check up on you for 5 minutes, me and your father were passing by, so my as well see how you are doing". She said.

"You didn't decide to call first". I said mad.

"Sorry, but who is that guy". She said, and pointed at him, like he was a freak.

"Oh this is Mason". I said and smiled.

"We'll I don't want to see that ever again on that couch, or any other couch that's in this house, do it in your room, or his place". She said, angry.

"Your not the boss of me". I said, so pissed.

"Yes I am, and you will follow my rules when your at MY HOUSE"! She yelled at me.

"We'll your not here most of the time so I can do what the fuck I want". I yelled back.

"We'll I'm leaving! So do what you want I don't care any more"! She yelled, and stormed out of the house.

Why could I just have a normal parents, that love me.

I didn't even notice, but I was crying, I felt someone's hand cupped my face.

"Shhh, it will be okay, everything's gonna be alright". He said, and stroked my cheek.

"Nothing's- g-gonna be al-alright". I managed to say before more tears come down.

"Just ignore your mom". He said.

"How? She's my mother, like she said, it's her house, as long as You are living in this house, I have to follow her rules". I said.

"Hey look at me" he said

So I did, he was staring right at me.

"Everything is gonna be alright". He said into my eyes.

"But you didn't live this life, so you wouldn't know how I feel right now. You would never"! I said, and cried even more. 

"Remember what I told you before"? He asked me.

I shock my head no.

"That I get abused by my parents, they hate me, they say I was a mistake, and that now one will ever love me". He said.

"You got to go to the police about that". I demanded .

"I can't, my dad nows people that could get him out easily, and he will come back for me, and kill me". He said, and let go of my face.

"You've got to, he's been abusing you go how long. He needs to be stopped". I said.

"Please, I can't tell the police, I love my dad". He said. "Maybe some day he will change".

"He's not gonna change, and if he is, we'll its gonna be a while before he changes". I said, and cupped his face with my hands.

"Please tell the police". I said and looked into his eyes.

"I just can't. You don't get it Sophia". He said. "I'm only 17, I can't move out of the house until I'm 18, and if I tell the police they would put me in foster Care, were I don't know anyone".

"Oh ya. I didn't think of that" I said, and my voice dropped a little when I said that.

"Maybe when I'm 18 I will". He said.

"Alright then". I said.

I really hope he does tell the police. It would make me happier if he did, but no he's to stubren. Why couldn't he tell the police.

"How about I go make supper". He said.

"You can cook". I said surprised.

"Yep". He said and smiled.

"Alright". I said and smiled at

So he got up, and went to the kitchen.

So I turned on the tv. And it was the news.

'Attention all folks, if you see Mason Carther please call the police'. The news person said. And put a picture of MY mason.

"Ummmmmm, Mason". I said, really didn't know what to say.

"Ya". He said.

"Can you come here for a second". I said.

"Um ya one second". He said.

I heard shuffling around the kitchen.

"Ya what is it"? He asked, and looked at me.

"Umm". I said. "The news".

"Yes, what about the news"?. He asked.

"You were on there". I said, shacking.

"Why"? He said.

"Your a missing person". I said.

"WHAT"! He said shocked.

"What are we going to do"? I said. "If we don't go to the cops about it, and they find you hear I could go to jail, they would think that I kidnapped you".

"I'm going to go back to my house then". He said, and got up and started to walk to the door.

"What"! I said shocker.

"I have to". He said, and walked out of the door.
