Next morning, Niko woke up feeling jittery for her first day at her new school. She wanted the feeling to go away, so she doesn't stay frozen in one place and probably being in the way for other people. The thought of being an annoyance for someone makes her anxious, but it's not like people could see her nervousness on her face. With her fidgety hands, she grabbed her underwear and her new school uniform and tiptoed to the bathroom for a quick shower, hoping it would calm some of the nerves down.

Ten minutes later, she came out from the bathroom, still as nervous as before. "Turu.. I can't calm myself down! I'm gonna die if someone say something mean to me.." Turu appeared, floating about, her black oval eyes focusing on the uneasy adolescent. "It's gonna be alright, Niko-chan. There must be atleast someone who won't judge a book by it's cover, right?" she reassured Niko. The teen took a few slow breaths, while thinking about what Turu just said. "I guess so.. Wished there were more of them though,"  Niko answered, as she walked downstairs.

When she reached the kitchen, she noticed her dad had already set the table for both of them. Tamotsu is drinking water from his bowl, looking up at Niko in ackowledgement before resuming the sipping. Nobuyuki has his back turned towards her, grabbing the juice from the fridge. He then closes the fridge door and turns around to put the juice on the table, noticing his daughter standing near the doorway.

"Good morning Niko! Nervous?" She nodded, taking her spot at the table and poured some juice into her glass. "Yeah, really nervous. I might be the only person who is.. different." Her body language really doesn't show how she feels like, except for the random twitches of her arms and her fidgety hands. She glanced at her father, and he could see in her eyes that she feared for the worst, while still trying to keep her hopes up for something good to happen. "It won't be like the previous school, that I can promise you!" Nobuyuki seems to be confident about this, which made Niko smile a little.

"Remember, Tomori is still at your old school. You're not within his reach anymore."

She made a sandwich while she listened to her kind father's words, feeling relieved about not having to meet a manipulative asshole five times a week anymore. Maybe life will finally get better for her? She pondered about different possibilities while eating her breakfast, voicing her worries about school every now and then, with her father reassuring her like he always does.

When she had finished her breakfast, she thanked Nobuyuki for it before going up to the bathroom on the upper floor to brush her teeth and fix her hair. She likes her hair to have some volume, since it feels so nice to touch and it's easy to keep in line, or most of the time atleast.

After she was done with all of her morning routines, she checked the clock in the living room. It says 8:02, and school starts 8:50. Which means within sixty minutes, she will be sitting among her new classmates, feeling like an alien everyone have to stare at. "Oh shit, I have to stand in front of everyone and introduce myself as well! I'm gonna die.." Turu was lying on her shoulder, trying to think of something that would make this whole transition easier for this overthinking girl. "Your introduction doesn't have to be long. Just write your name on the chalkboard, greet the class and tell them your name, and how you'll look forward to study with them."
