Hi, This'll be the second oneshot in this installment! If you're new, welcome. If you saw me make that authors like two or three months ago saying I was going to get on it- also welcome and sorry. I just wanted to say this request involved fortnite and I don't know anything about Fortnite so I changed it to some vague, undescriptive game. So thanks. Also, This had been done for a month without me publishing it... so, sorry.//

Something had happened, nothing too severe, but the time had changed and the sun began to grow hotter, as the sweet kiss of spring had sorrowfully disappeared, having turned into the great passion of summer. Needless to say the teenagers we all know and love were on summer vacation.
Hanta Sero, a lanky boy that looked so tall he could be mistaken for a light pole (that is if you yourself are the size of a toddler. Mineta.), and so skinny it looked like the wind might break him, he had found refuge in his dorm room, having no chores, parents (at the moment), or problems to worry about. It was only him, and his boyfriend.
Tenya Iida was a bulky fellow, he had clearly been to a gym and obviously never skipped leg day. Said man was also an incredibly huge nerd. He studied, loved to learn, and was one of the most academically elite in his class. He was also a bit of a perfectionist. So when he had some in to see his lanky boyfriend the first thing he noticed was the clutter, and the first thing he did was begin to clean. Though not after kissing Sero's cheek and wishing him a good morning.
Sero was sitting on his hammock, (he's a big fan of indoor hammocks, I swear!) his switch pulled up to his chest as he softly, yet distractedly, greeted his boyfriend when he walked in, not giving him much acknowledgement after that. That went on for a few hours, Iida cleaned and then began to do bookwork, this was a somewhat normal occurrence, so the glasses wearing male assumed that he would start talking when he finished his level. Besides, the class president wanted to get some extra work done.
But then most of the day had passed, and Iida had run out of things to do. He stared at his boyfriend, admiring the way he tied back his hair, or the cute little smirk he got when he enjoyed something, possibly when he won. After a few more minutes of waiting, Tenya got up and swiftly took the game out of his grasps, " Hanta, It's been all day, can't you give it a break?" He asked softly, holding it up and out of the whining boys reach.
" Tenya! B-But... I was so close! Just one more round!" Sero begged, trying to reach for it. In turn he fell out of the hammock with a grunt. " Ow..." he mumbled, pretending to be hurt. He knew his boyfriend would bend down to check if he was okay. And when he did, Hanta tripped him, sending the game sliding across the floor.
This game of chase went on for what felt like hours, any time someone got close, the other would pull it back or hit it out of their grasp. Though eventually Iida managed to pin down Sero, having to take a moment to catch his breath, " E...Enough, please."
Sero was quiet, just looking up him. Not only was the position a little compromising, but he could tell Iida really wanted to talk to him. " What's so special about that game? I've been trying to talk to you, and hang out with you, because you're my boyfriend and it's summer break! But you can't even look up from that... screen!" Tenya ranted a bit, sounding less and less like himself. He sounded more vulnerable, intimidated maybe.
" But... I'm sorry, Tenya. I didn't know." The brunette says softly as he looked up at his boyfriend, " Why does it bother you so much? We have all summer." He says, feeling that stone of guilt beginning to sink in his stomach.
" But what if we don't? What if there's another attack and something happens? I want to be able to say I spent all the time we had together with you, loving you. Not watching you and hoping you weren't bored of me." Iida says with a sigh, climbing off of Sero so he'd be able to get up.
Sero sat up, sitting beside his boyfriend and pulling his knees to his chest, " I'm sorry. I hope you know I love you. I didn't mean to make you feel that way. I just... I just started that game you got me and I really like it." He chuckled, leaning against Iida.
Tenya smiles softly, " Fine, I guess that's acceptable, but you owe me a date tomorrow. All day, no video games or distractions." He says, he could understand where Hanta was coming from, he really didn't want to put too much blame on him either. Miscommunications happen, it was apart of life.
" Fine... as long as you play a round with me." Sero says, reaching out to grab his switch, looking to his boyfriend with hesitant eyes before deciding that he wasn't going to get scolded for grabbing it. He pulled it over to them before sating, " Get ready to eat my dust, Engine-man." He says playfully.
" Oh, You're on!" Iida says, grabbing the second player controller excitedly before he paused, " Um... wait, how do you play?"
