After a month of moving back and forth between London and Edinburgh, I was finally ready to release my first song, Issues. Sarah, Jackie and I wrote so many songs that we lost count after a while, taking inspiration from our own stories, people that we knew stories, as well as random creations that could be turned into movies. With a record company, the songs turned out more 'poppy' than my usual acoustic style. Although I liked the change, they sounded happier, even if the words weren't so.

The song is set to be released in two days, a day before Rosie's wedding, so Rosie and I were both sitting in on my bed, freaking out.

"Everything will go fine, we have the rehearsal dinner tomorrow, we can make sure everything is in line then" I tried to comfort Rosie, whilst I was freaking out internally.

"Okay..." She trailed off, before asking "wait, aren't I supposed to be the one comforting you? Your debut song is being released before my wedding"

"No, I'll be fine" I tried to convince her, trying my hardest to stop bouncing my leg.

"You are not very convincing Kiara, I can tell that you are nervous" She said, putting a hand on my knee.

"That's an understatement" I mumbled. After a moment, my head shot up in realisation. "Nervous System" I stated.

"Nervous System?" Rosie asked confused.

"Yes! It's the perfect title for my EP!" I squealed, my anxiety brushing off slightly, but not completely.

"I love it!" Rosie squealed along with me.

Footsteps rushed to my door. "Seriously girls, is someone dying?" Dave asked huffing.

"Nervous System!" Rosie shouted a little too loudly.

"I'm sorry, what?" Dave asked still confused.

"It's the name of my EP!" I shouted along with Rosie.

"Oh cool, so no one is dying?" Dave asked raising an eye brow before turning to leave.

"Love your support Dave!" I shouted after him laughing.

"This is exciting, you have it all figured out" Rosie said with a smile.

"Okay that is a major overstatement" I explained.

"How do you think you will go with performing your song?" She asked.

"I think that these first couple will be easier, they aren't all really personal and deep, they kind of just skim the surface for what is to come..." I trailed off.

"Well I'm sure it will be amazing either way" Rosie kept the comforting sweet smile.

"Thanks Rosie" I said bring her into a hug. "You may not be too much older than me, but you sure are a lot wiser" I added.

"5 years does that to you" She laughed along with me.

"Now wedding" I said as I turned back to serious.

"Ahhh" She screamed.

"Should I even bother walking over there" We both heard yelled from the kitchen, before bursting out into laughter.

"You are one lucky girl" I giggled.

"I know" Rosie said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes. She stopped for a moment before adding, "you know, I really am. I have you and Dave, what more can I want in life?"
