The strength of a woman
Is not when she shouts louder
To be heard in world run by man.
It is not even her rise to power
After decades of fighting
For the right to keep her dignity
Without compromising
Her soul and her sanity.
Nay, the strength of a woman
Is her ability to love unconditionally,
To forgive when treated less than a human,
To survive when subjected to the worst infamy.
On this day, to all women I raise my hand
In salute, I am all of them and they are me,
A mother, a daughter, a sister or a friend.
We women are the bonding of all Humanity.
