Plot
Christmas on Hart Street is anything but normal this year. With the students at Galador preparing to compete in the annual Christmas a cappella competition, tension is high in the air. They want to end the winning streak for their school's rival, but so far it seems unlikely they will.
The competition isn't the only thing raising the tension. It's reported that a huge snowstorm will strike the city soon, making it unsafe to travel anywhere. The snowstorm is rumoured to happen every year so not too many a preparing for it.
So they're completely surprised when they're stuck in the school when the snowstorm strikes.
Characters
*Note: I aged down Ryder, Jerome, and Mae one year in Hart Street*
Nolan Prince (16) and Jerome Roy (18)
Mae Woods (18) and Ryder Prince (18)
Alan Prince (16)
Orchid Prince (16)
Atticus Smythe (16)
Brandon Patterson (18)
Notes
All the characters above attend a school for the arts and sports. Those two things are heavily focused on, and it's extremely hard getting into the school if you're not an artist (visual or performing) or an athlete of some kind. Each student is in one program, but they're more than welcome to take classes or be on teams outside of they're program. Here are the main programs they're in:
Dancing
Ryder
Jerome
Mae
Visual Arts
Nolan
Music
Orchid
Basketball/Softball
Alan
Brandon

This is the second year that the Protector series, mainly Hart Street, gets the Christmas story. I just love the Princes so much, and I love the Hart Street storyline.
I think I've said this before but I'll say it again just in case; I moved the setting away from Miami for one reason and one reason only: snow. I loved snow and love having stories where it snows so I moved them to a place where it snows a lot in the winter. Where is this place? Idk tbh.
Anyway, I usually get up the first part of the seasonal stories (aka the plot and characters) a few weeks before it begins so idk why it took my so long to get this up when I already knew for a while what the Christmas story is about this year.
Also, I'm still figuring out the POV but as much as I love all these characters, I'm not going to do what I've done in the past and have most of them with a POV. It gets too much juggling the different storylines and not having an idea for a certain character, but having a lot for another. That being said, I'm going to be biased again and do what I did for the Halloween story: either have Nolan being the sole narrator or throw Jerome in the mix so it alternates between the two lol. I just find it soooooo easy writing in those two POVs.
Anyway, I can't wait to start writing this woo! I hope you enjoy it!
(also i love that axel and maxence are nolan and jerome now thank you for coming to my ted talk)
