Prompt: Candles

"I'm back, sevgili." Ming announced walking into their room. He had several shopping bags in his hands. Yo and him had gone shopping after they'd returned from their somewhat disastrous morning hike.  Kit had accidentally tripped over an over grown root and sprained his ankle. Ming had carried him back with ease. Pha wrapped his ankle before Beam and Ming had helped him to get into bed. Which is where Ming had left him propped up with a nest pillows, his latest book, the tv remote, and a fresh cup of his favorite tea.

The lack of response had Ming turning around from where he'd been laying the bags in the armchair. A fond smile spreading across his face as he found Kit asleep with the book against his chest. He quietly padded over to the side of the bed to take the book off his boyfriend's chest setting it on the night stand along with the adorable golden frames Kit wore sometimes to read.

"Adorable." Ming mumbled watching the shallow rise and fall of his boyfriends chest.

"Am...not." Kit sleepily muttered stirring for only a few moments before falling back to sleep. Ming silently chuckled going back over to the bags. He grabbed two of the bags heading to the bathroom. He'd seen a handcrafted bath and body store while out. The place had been perfect for him to get his surprises for Kit. Happily he got to work.

Kit woke with the soft peppering of kisses on his face. Those talented lips carefully avoiding his own. Bleary from sleep his eyes fluttered open seeing the loving smile on his boyfriend's face. A wonderful way to wake up.

"Don't be stingy." Kit greeted him while his eyes dropped to Ming's lips.

"Hello to you too." Ming laughed finally pressing a chaste kiss to Kit's soft lips. Kit wrapped his arms around Ming's neck keeping him moving back as he chased Ming's lips capturing them in another kiss.

"You smell nice." Kit murmured as they parted leaning their foreheads against each other.

"You don't though." Ming chuckled making Kit gently pinch his ear in retaliation.

"Hey!"

"Hay is for horses." Kit sassed back playfully smiling.

"And warm tub baths are for KitKat's." Ming teased. Kit let his arms slip down.

"Oh?"

"Uh huh," Ming answered leaning back to sit-up "I just finished filling the tub. Want me to carry you or do you think you can walk there?"

"I'll walk."

"You go ahead I'll grab your pajamas." Ming said getting up and going into the walk in closet.

"Okay." Kit said nodding as he carefully made his way to the bathroom. He stepped into the bathroom thinking the light had been set to dim but that wasn't the case. The lights were off and the light was coming from the strategically placed  neon green candles around the room. The color making them stand out against the white and black decorated bathroom, and their scent a mixture of sandalwood and vanilla.

Kit peered into the large jacuzzi tub that easily fit four people. The jets were on making the water that looked like the night sky mixed with neon pink and green swirls wave. A smile spreading across his face as the warmth of being loved by Ming spread in his chest. This was sweet gesture and by the tray on the baths edge Kit could tell that Ming was going to help him bathe.

"I thought you'd be in the water by now." Ming whispered in Kit's ear making him visibly shiver. His boyfriend's chin rested on his shoulder. "Or do you want me to help you undress?"  Ming didn't wait for an answer already stripping the smaller man of his shirt tossing it to the floor.

"It's just a sprained ankle." Kit answered not stopping his boyfriend as he made work of the rest of his clothes.

"So?" Ming replied helping Kit into the tub making sure he didn't fall "I don't have to have a reason to get you naked, sevgili."  Kit laughed getting comfortable in the tub. The warm water soothing the aching ankle. He tilted his head back letting Ming pour water from the pitcher to dampen his hair. A low moan slipped from him before he could catch himself as Ming's skilled hands massages their shampoo into his hair.

"Behave." Ming scolding without any heat behind the words as he rinsed the suds out of Kit's hair. Kit could feel the smile that he couldn't see making him laugh.
