Prompt: Fireplace
Beam feels content with his spot on the plush rug in front of the fireplace in their bedroom. A nice pillow pile keeping him half propped up. He had his left arm behind his head just out habit. The book he picked up at that bookstore earlier while they were out shopping in his lap. His legs bent to keep the book in the perfect place. He's comfortable still in his jeans and his white t-shirt from earlier that'd been under his sweater. The only sound was his breathing and crackling of the flames in the fireplace.
He decided to come up to their room chill out by himself until Forth gets back from going with Pha to get Yo's phone. They'd accidentally left it at their last stop which had been the bakery Forth and him had stopped at the other night. A smile spreading across his face at the memory of that night. His mind focusing on the way the spiced devil's food cake had tasted when he'd kissed Forth in the backseat of the car as they headed back to the house.
"What's with that look?" Forth asked waking him from his memory as he stepped into the room shutting the door behind him. He'd left the boots been wearing earlier downstairs. He was still dressed in the dark wash ripped jeans that fit him like a glove and a black henley. Forth discarded his leather jacket over the back of the armchair was he sauntered closer to Beam.
"I'm thinking about cake." Beam answered honestly watching Forth drop down to a knee at his feet.
"Oh?" Forth replied in a fake surprised tone that didn't meet the mischievous glimmer in his eyes.
"Yeah." Beam said as he felt the heat pooling in his chest moving south just by the look in Forth's eyes.
"I'm pretty sure that was blueberry pie we shared. But just to be sure-" Forth purposely stopped taking the book out his lap setting it aside "let me check."
Beam chuckled letting his legs relax to let Forth crawl up his body. The kiss started off teasingly soft but shifted as Forth straddled his lap. Both of Forth's forearms now on each side of his head. His boyfriend's hands gripping his hair keeping him in place. Beam parted his lips letting Forth's tongue inside tangling with his as his hands gripped Forth's hips.
"Definitely blueberry." Forth breathily teased against Beam's lips when they finally parted for much needed air.
"Are you sure?" Beam asked his gaze still dazed.
"No." Forth answered capturing his lips again.
