Chp 2 - The Murder🎃

Dr.Amelia's POV

"Emily" i continued the story.

Emily was Lucy's best friend. They were friends in school and they were still friends in the junior years. Emily was a brunette wearing a light blue gown covered with dirt and fake blood as she was a zombie bride.

She came with Jared who was in the base ball team with Adrien and Alex. They won the inter- school championship which made this night more perfect for all.

Jared would always be with Adrien, Alex and of course with mean girls, Mandi,Hayley and Gertrude. They literally came as the shiny plastics from Mean Girls. And Mandi had to be Regina George.

Mandi was bad but not much with Lucy and Emily. Until Lucy asked Adrien to prom and he said yes. So Mandi decided to go with her girls. But she did plan a revenge.

Emily was psyched to meet Lucy as they were gonna meet after 3 months. She was out of town for some work.

Jared and Emily were having a nice time as Emily could not believe she was asked to prom by Jared. She was feeling like a true princess.
Jared interrupted the dance and went to the bathroom. Mandi and her two followers walked in the ball room.
The red curtains covered the whole room and the spooky halloween decorations made it more spooky.
Skeletons hanging out from the curtains with fake blood coming out. The sitting arrangement was in the middle with all white tables and chairs. The stage was ahead in the front where the crowns for prom King and Queen were kept.

Emily sat on a chair waiting for Jared. Mandi saw Emily all alone and sat next to her with her blonde hair smelling like vanilla.

Mandi: "Hey what's wrong?!"

Emily: "Nothing just waiting for Jared. He went to th-"

Mandi: "Washroom! I know, he does that a lot when he is bored."

Emily: "Bored?!"

Mandi: " Yeah like how Alex's PJs make him bore and he leaves him with this excuse to avoid him."

Emily: You mean he is avoiding me?!

Mandi: I dont know about you but this is what I believe.

Emily frowned and felt disgusted.

Mandi: You know why he asked you to prom right?!

Emily nodded 'NO'

Mandi: Oh silly! It was a prank!!

Emily was shocked for a while.

Mandi: He had a bet with Alex and Adrien that who will take the most dumbest dork to the prom and thats the reason Adrien came with Lucy.

Emily: i dont trust you. You are a Lair. And dont you call my best friend dumb, she is the best person i have met.

Mandi: Oh please, If she is that great, then where is she right now?
Did she even meet you here?

Emily was speechless.

Mandi: Nobody cares about you, you dumb freak!

Emily got up and left the ball room while tears were dripping down her eyes. She was very sensitive as she was an orphan and had no proper love.

Mandi's revenge was complete as she saw Emily fighting with Jared on her way out. She had a proud smile on her face.

Jared ran after Emily. She locked herself in the bathroom.

Jared: Emily please listen to me
He begged

Emily: Get out of here, i dont want to see your face.

Jared: Ok but please listen to me Emily.

We had a bet but when i saw you in that gown, you were the most beautiful girl i had ever seen in my whole life. I knew that you were the only person i would spend this night with. Please Emily come out.

Emily: You think i would come out after you agreed that you had a bloody bet on me. You are the worst person I have ever seen. Now just let me be at my peace. Go away!!

Jared: Fine don't believe me, but i am truly sorry for all i did but it doesnt change the fact that i wanted to spend this night with you. So go ahead and spend your night in this dirty stall.

Jared left after saying his part. Emily continued crying in the stall.

The Mandi and Hayley left the ballroom along with Alex and Adrien to the hall way of the school. They started carving 'Dumped at Prom' on Emily's locker. Lucy, who was looking for Adrien, saw them doing this and heard the whole thing about the bet. She was furious and went to confront them.

Lucy: So this was your bathroom break Adrien?!

They all were startled as Lucy came in and spoke.

Adrien: I-I-I... He was speechless.

Mandi spoke with her arrogant attitude : If you heard everything then that's bad cause this wasn't the best way to burst your bubble unlike Emily of course. She is crying her eyes out.

They all laughed together

Hayley: She is actually gonna look like a zombie bride hahahaha. They all made fun of Lucy and Emily.

Lucy felt bad as she didn't meet Emily either. She was so furious.

*Speaker turned on as the principal was announcing the Prom King and Queen*

Lucy: you know what Mandi, you are the dumbest person here. And all your stupid slaves that you have here. You are a disgrace to all. Just like your father! He ran away with my mother and left me with my alcoholic abusive dad. I live hell in my house and you make it hell in school too. And this is it. I know a lot of things that you guys have done in this school and i have proof for what you did in the Chemistry lab.

And I am turning you guys in for that. Just wait and watch.

Lucy threatened Mandi and turned her way back. Mandi was so mad at all that she heard from Lucy. She couldn't control her anger. Her blood was boiling like lava, the rage in her was lighting a fire and losing control on her actions, she snatched Alex's base ball bat and walked towards Lucy.

*Speaker went on as principal said,"
And your Prom King is..... " *

Mandi shouted "Hey Lucy!" and as Lucy turned behind, Mandi hit her on the head with the heavy base ball bat.

* "Jared Johnson!!!" *

Lucy held her bleeding head with her hand and fell on to the ground. She was moaning in pain and despair but Mandi just stood there as well as the others. Nobody could hear her as all were cheering for the Prom King and whole hall way was filled with silence.

All were in a shock. Mandi had no sense of what she did until Hayley shouted," Mandi what did you do?!
Mandi came back to sense as she heard Hayley's voice and dropped the bat from her hand. It was all covered in blood. The bat, Mandi's hand and Lucy lying in a pool of blood. The moanings from the pain stopped as Lucy went silent.

Hayley: Oh my god! Did she...did she just.....die...?

Alex gasped in shock!

Adrien: Oh no!

Alex: Check her pulse Mandi! He shouted.

Mandi couldn't as she was still processing her actions.

Adrien walked towards Lucy and felt her wrist. There was no movement.

* "And your Prom Queen is......" *

Adrien: Guys..... She's......Dead...!

* " Lucy Grail Everybody " *

Adrien: SHIT!
