Since this was so short I called it a drabble, and sorry you had wait this long for a drabble instead of oneshot. I couldn't think of anything cool so this sucked.

Valentine's Day.

Considered a lovely time of the year by some, but widely regarded as a national scam by most people in the west, it is a day where people express their romantic, or sometimes just platonic, love to their loved ones. However, Japan has a different approach to Valentine's Day. For one reason or another, only girls are expected to give presents on Valentine's Day and one month later, on a day called White Day, the boys return the favor by giving something back. This tradition not only caused confusion for lesbians but will also cause a certain act of bravery done by a certain burgundy haired boy.

"Tada!"

It was lunch and the trio plus Nezuko had received a gift from their friend, chocolate to be exact. It was Valentine's Day and [Y/N] had insisted on giving each of them chocolate as a sign of friendship instead of romantic relations. Much to Tanjiro's silent disappointment.

"[Y/N]-CHAAAAAN, I THANK YOU WITH ALL MY LIFE FOR THIS CHOCOLATE!!

"Zenistu...I'm almost kinda hurt that you're so happy about being friendzoned by me."

Zenistu was happy beyond words to receive chocolate on Valentine's Day, Inosuke just stuffed the sweets into his face, and Nezuko gave plenty of headpats and nuzzles while receiving some too. Though Tanjiro was rather confused on how to react. On one side he was flustered and grateful to receive a gift form his upperclassmen on the special day.

On the other hand...

"You're welcome, anything to show some love for my friends."

It clearly showed that she saw him as a friend and nothing else.

Sighing, the boy stored away the chocolate and looked on to his crush, she was kind of clueless to his feelings really.

"Tanjiro? Your okay?"

Tanjiro looked up from where he was sitting to see [Y/N] holding a concerned expression on her face, "What's wrong?"

The boy shook his head and smiled in reassurance, "Nothing, I'm fine. Thank you very much for the chocolate [Y/N]-Senpai."

"Of course!" The girl smiled and placed her hand onto of his head, ruffling his hair as she laughed.

"But if there anything you need to vent about, your school mom is always here 'k?"

Tanjiro sweatdropped at her words.

She really did see him as a kid...

"Of course!"

But his sister had caught on to what her brother was thinking and that night Nezuko had walked to his room, a paper with some words scribbled on it and a small drawing in hand.

At the very top in her little hand writing was "Operation White Day <3."

"Sure thing Nezuko, but you really think this would work?"

"Mhm!"

One month later, lots of preparations, and at least one very confused upperclassmen. White day came and Tanjiro had asked [Y/N] to meet with him after school on campus.

"What's with the meeting Tanjiro? Isn't it a little dramatic?" The girl gestured to the cherry blossom around them.

Tanjiro laughed nervously, she seemed to have not caught on.

"I just want to thank you for the gift you gave me last month."

"That? It was no problem-Huh?"

From behind his back Tanjiro revealed a bouquet of red roses and a box of chocolate.

"Happy white day [Y/N]-Chan! Consider this my confession."

The girl's face reddened as she clumsily held onto the gifts the redhead had thrusted into her arms as she stuttered.

"Wait, wait, wait! Um, listen Tanjiro, by giving me these gifts you're saying."

"That I love you in a romantic way?"

[Y/N] nodded, "Y-yeah, so are you sure you want me to keep these?"

Having enough of her, Tanjiro swiftly closed the distance between them to shut her up with a kiss on the lip.

Pulling away Tanjiro smiled, "Of course I knew."
