Nobody's POV
UN stared at the two brothers, Canada seemed to be on the edge of a mental breakdown while America looked ready to go to war. UN cleared his throat, "Neither of you answered my question."
UN glare was sharp enough to cut a diamond. Normally UN was calm and peace-loving but when it came to finding out one's secrets, he could be emotionless. Even America flinched at his words. Canada, hanging his head, said in a barely audible voice, "T-that w-was my pr-provinces a-and terr-territories w-with 'Mer-Merica's states..."
UN said in a clearly surprised tone, "You were talking to what?!"
America snapped at him, scared for his states, "I'm not named United STATES of America for nothing UN!"
UN was taken back at how he didn't realize that for so long. It was kind of obvious. UN's brain was spinning, trying to find out how he can meet these so-called provinces, territories, and states. Talking slowly, UN asked, "Can you call them back?" when Canada nodded and reached for the computer UN stopped him, "Not now, but in an hour, I want everyone to meet them."
Both brothers cried in unison, "But why?! What are you gonna do to them?!"
UN stared at them, "Nothing, I just want to meet them. Eventually in person," UN's voice left no room for argument.
Both brothers knew there wasn't any chance of hiding the PTS anymore.
Ontario's POV
An hour laterI sat at my table eating poutine, while Quebec sat in the living room playing a PVP game. A buzzing cut through the noise of Quebec's game. Picking up my phone, I called to Quebec, "Que, I got a call from Nada, I'll be upstairs."
Que looked at me and grinned, "Ok, dites-moi ce qui se passe si (Ok, tell me what's going on though)."
Nodding my head, I answered Nada's call, lifting the phone up to my ear. Immediately I heard an unfamiliar, matured, male voice saying hello. I didn't even stop to think, "Hello? Nada? What's wrong with your voice, you were fine an hour ago..." I trailed off, hearing surprised shouts in the background.
The voice on the other end coughed and shouted something away from the phone. I was starting to panic, I hated it when things went wrong. The voice spoke again, "Is this Ontario? I'm United Nations, by the way, UN for short."
Nodding my head, I confirmed I was Ontario. My mind was spinning with all the facts I knew about UN, one in particular: He can hurt everyone else. UN started speaking again, "Can you switch the call to face time?"
"Yeah... just gotta switch to a computer," I walked into mine and Quebec's shared office and quickly transferred the call to my computer.
Staring at the computer, I took in the light-skinned man with a white symbol on his face. It was a globe, I think? I've never seen one before, to be honest. I felt self-conscience as he took in my red skin and flag. Looking past him I saw a conference room filled with countries, catching my eye were Nada and 'Merica. I quickly used the American sign language to figure out what was going on. Oh, that's uhh pleasant... I thought to myself when a country walked up to the screen. She was wearing what looked like a school uniform and was probably seventeen or eighteen. Her flag was white with a red circle in the middle, and she had cat ears and a tail. Odd, then again some of those guys got wings...
*Creak*
I turned around and immediately calmed down when I saw Quebec. He asked, "Que se passe-t-il? Au fait, j'ai gagné (What's going on? By the way, I won)."
As I quickly filled Quebec in, more countries curiously came up and started to introduce themselves. I found out the Neko was named Japan. Quebec was overjoyed when France came over and started to talk to him in french. Quebec can understand English but for some strange reason couldn't talk in any other language than french. I think the whole ordeal was going well until we heard pounding on our door and Saskatchewan calling for help.
Saskatchewan's POV
I pounded on Ontario's and Quebec's door desperate. I was drowning in an ocean of concern for Al, who was being held by me and Hawaii. He was fading in and out conciseness, his leg was bent at an odd angle and his face was covered in bleeding scratches made by branches. I had to push down a wave of nausea each time I looked at his leg. Al was bad. When the door was opened by a concerned Quebec, Ontario was quickly called down too, and Al was taken from me. I barely registered anything at all, I just kept seeing the branch Al was sitting on give way underneath him in flashes. Hawaii telling Alberta not to go higher. Al looking down from twenty feet up and laughing. Al's branch snapping with a wicked crack. Alberta's screams as he fell. The disgusting pop as his leg snapped, mimicking the branch.
"Saskatchewan what happened?" I heard multiple voices ask, demanding answers as my world spun with fear for my brother.
Then Al's weak voice cut through my panic, momentarily calming my world, "Sasquatch, you forgot to feed that stupid chicken."
Hysteria bubbled up my throat, and I gave a weak laugh squeezing Al's hand. We were in a bedroom, when did we get here? I screamed at myself, trying to make sense of what was going on. "With all that's going on, you're thinking of my pet chicken?"
"Hey now, I like that stupid chicken," Al sounded weak, too weak.
(930 words)
For anyone who cares, the chicken's name is Lunch. The twins can have a very twisted sense of humor at times.
Also, stupid tree hurt the precious boyyo...
I know the song has nothing to do with the chapter, I just like it
