Chapter 17 1-C's drama performance

When I walked through the hallway I met so many students working on some kind of props decorating the hallway with beautiful flowers and other stuff. I was confused and not knowing what's going on. Binbin floated towards me in a hurry as I dodged him because he was floating right up to my face. He bumped on to the wall that was next to the staircase. He slid down and got knocked out. I tried my best to hide my laugh. Binbin slowly regains consciousness as he looked at me with a huge scar on his face. "Yuna! What was that for!?" he yelled at me as he shook his head as the bruise fade away. I couldn't hide my laughter anymore so I burse out. "Sorry! I thought it would be funny!" I smiled and begged him for forgiveness. He sighed and said "its fine...I guess". I sighed in relief, the soon I opened my classroom door Ayako ran towards me like an angry bull and started to yell at me "you're late! " she slowly started to calm down "well, in a three week we need to do a play cause of the full moon masked festival that will be held after that and chosen class from middle school and high school had to perform during that time period so this year our class had been chosen to perform either a drama or a musical one so we choose drama and giving everyone their roles."

I nodded and walked inside the classroom and took a seat near my desk. Ayako started to call out each and everyone's names one by one as they took a small paper out of the box that the vice class rep was holding, My name called out, I stood up and walked in front of the class, I put my hand inside the small box and pull out a small paper that was folded, I walked back to my seat and unfold the paper and found out my role was written in it. I was playing the prince role in the play. I smiled brightly and looked at Aki who was sitting next to me. I leaned closer to him and tried to peek into his sheet then I asked him while having an exciting smile on my face. "Hey, Aki what is your role?" When I asked that question I found out Aki was turning crimson then I started to get worried "hey? Are you okay?" I asked.

Aki stood up from his seat and nodded "yes I am..." he gave me an awkward smile. I sighed and smiled back at him "if you say so" He sighed in relief and took his seat then Ayako started to speak with a serious and fired up voice "Now! Everyone listen up, I already wrote the script cause we didn't have much time, it's kinder a mix of snow white and Romeo and Juliet one" everyone started to scream in excitement and wanted to start right away. Ayako closed her eyes and fold her arms and yelled at everyone "enough talking! We will be practicing the play after our lessons are over" everyone started to get all disappointed but when Amagase sensei entered the classroom everyone started to look down and kept themselves quite. He sighed and spoke with a voice that echoed throughout the quiet room "take out your power sealing books and read it" everyone took out their textbooks and started to note it down on their notebooks.

After classes were over everyone stayed late as Ayako hand over the scripts to the students who were playing a character in the play. I took mine and went through it, started to get into my character, the script wasn't as bad as I thought. I looked at everyone that was in the play, Aki(princess), Amano(wicked Queen), Kazu(revival Prince), Ayako(good Queen), Hibiki (ML's best friend), Me(Male lead). I sighed knowing this will be really hard. Soon before I knew it everyone started to act their roles, surprisingly everyone gave their all. I smiled and started to rehearse my role as well. This kept going for 2 weeks. It was amazing everyone got improved day by day. The last and final week approached us. The students that were handling the costumes had finished making them on time so we had the time to do a dress rehearsal as well. They gave us the costumes and they were made like a pro. Everyone was satisfied with their work. Everyone thanked them and hugged them as well.

The girls went to their changing room that was prepared by the students who were handling the prop work. The boys changed in the classroom. After I changed to my prince costume I walked out and everyone started to stare at me. I blushed a bit while adjusting the costume. Kazu looked amazing as well, he looked like a real prince who just jumped out of a children's fairy tale book. I walked up at Ayako and smiled as I asked her "do you like it?" Ayako looked at me and shook her head. She walked behind me and grabbed a blonde wig that matched my hair. She sat me down and put my hair up that made me shorter and easier to put the wig on. Ayako walked in front of me after she finished with my hair, she smiled happily and clapped her hands and said with a satisfied voice "now it looks great!" I smiled at her happily and clenched my fists and nodded "good! Don't worry I won't let you down" I winked at her playfully.
