I just want to remind all judges that they have to have judged all books by 10th December 2019, but that deadline may have to move later if I don't have a judge for each category and at least 3 entries in each category. Please let your friends know and convince them to enter and judge!
This will mean that it is completely fair, that everyone has some competition, and that at least one book will be eliminated after round one.
Otherwise, if there were only one or two books in each category, they would definitely get a winner's sticker just for taking part, which doesn't really seem fair.
I'm also offering a place judging the overall winner, where you will read the winning book from each category and choose the best. There is only one place for this, so I will be choosing the most convincing application. If there are no applicants, or I don't think they are satisfactory, I will judge the overall winner.
Please feel free to ask any questions. Apply to judge overall winner in the judging form chapter as normal but put the category you want to judge as overall winner.
Thank you!
