A Random Coltis story

Chapter 1

Colt's P.O.V.

I woke up to an unusual morning. When I went downstairs, there was no one there. Usually, aunty Pam would be cooking while Jessie would be upgrading Scrappy, but now I don't see them anywhere. I went to the counter to prepare some cereals for myself when I spotted a note being held down by a cup. I grabbed the note and read it.

Dear Colt,

       Me and Jessie will be away for a while. We need to go to the other town to buy some supplies that we lack here in the junkyard. We will be back next week or so.

'well that's just great, I'm alone for a week. Guess they really have used up all of the useful materials here huh? Oh well, it can't be helped.' I said to myself as I was folding the note and kept it away. After that, I finished making my cereal and ate it while reading the newspaper from yesterday. When I finished, I washed up the dishes and got ready for today. I changed my jersey and shorts to my usual sheriff outfit. I left the house but not before gelling my hair to make it look nice. Gotta look good in public ya'kno?

When I reached my office, I was not expecting a crowd to be fretting around. I quickly shut them up.

"So why are you all here? What happened?" I asked.

"Sir, all of us were attacked by a swarm of bats. We don't know what to do!"

"Yeah, and not only that, the bats also ate all of the fruits of our trees!"

"Some of us tried to stop them but they attacked us instead! Many of us are injured!"

They all started talking, making noise and also making it hard to focus.

"EVERYONE BE QUIET!" I shouted.

Everyone went silent.

"ok, bring all of the injured citizens to the hospital. Those wounds might get infected if not treated quickly. For the uninjured people, I suggest that you all stay here for a while, just to be safe. I'll go check on what's going on" I instructed.

All of them obliged and went to their separate ways. I went to the east side of the town since that is where the swarm attacked.

It looks like my plan have worked, now I just need to wait until he falls down my trap heheh~
