{chapter thirty nine ~ dinner}

Y/N's POV

"Sister! I can't believe it! You're here and you're also living at an orphanage and you haven't aged a bit! Still the same Sister Francine I love!" I hugged her more and she giggled once again.

It was weird seeing her at first, since I never expected to see her. I haven't seen her for like five years.

"Don't tell me you're Jungkook's girlfriend! That man is surely a playboy! He should never hurt my baby Y/N, ever!" She scolded me jokingly and it's now my turn to giggle.

"Well, he got lucky with me." We both laughed immediately and a knock interrupted the both of us.

"Jungkook! Why didn't you tell me that Y/N was the woman you've been with?!" She went and hugged Jungkook who was smiling, showing off his cute bunny teeth.

"Well, it wasn't planned that she'll be coming here and it wasn't expected that she was once your little baby." He teased and I giggled while he earned a soft spank from Sister Francine.

"How about the both of you stay for tonight? I'll prepare some clothes for you, since I have a lot of clothes here and Y/N has the same size as me." We both nodded our heads and smiled at Sister Francine.

I swear to whoever that Sister is still as stunning as she was when I left the orphanage. Her hazel eyes looked refreshed as ever and her once pale skin was tanned in this tropical country.

"Let's go upstairs and settle down for a while." I nodded my head and held Jungkook's hands while we went upstairs.

"Hey, what about Anna and your two friends?" I asked him out of nowhere and he stopped for a while to think.

"They're probably having the time of their lives, right now. Plus, Seokjin is their to babysit them, don't worry about Anna too much. She's been there, done that!" He said and I nodded my head in agreement.

"Nothing can beat my best friend ever!" I added and he laughed lightly.

"Agreed."

Meanwhile...

"What did you like between this two boys? I mean you could marry me instead, right?" Seokjin offered while both Anna and him sipped champagne at the corner of the room.

The sight of Taehyung and Namjoon making a mess on the living room left the two speechless.

"Can you grab me the Flamin' Hot Cheetos on the table, Anna?" Taehyung asked and she sighed.

"I'll just probably marry you, Seokjin."

Back to the two lovebirds...

"Dinner is ready!" We heard Sister Francine's voice from downstairs and it interrupted our little board game session.

"I was so ready to beat you on that game, Jungkook!" I stomped my foot out of frustration and he laughed.

"I only have one step to get at the 100th step, but I ended up at the 99th step which has a snake and I went back to the 30th! You're so lucky, Jungkook!" I added and he laughed at me cockily.

"Always expect the best from me, Y/N." He wriggled my eyebrows at me and I laughed loudly.

"Oh!" A knock from the door got me shocked and he laughed at my surprised look.

"Dinner's ready!" We both laughed when we heard Sister Caroline's voice from the door.

"Incoming!" I replied and giggled once more.

I opened the door and the girl that slapped me glared at me with anger in her eyes.

As soon as Jungkook got out of the room, she ignored us and went to the dining room immediately.

I sighed and looked at Jungkook who was trying to talk to the girl.

"She really hates me now." I said and Jungkook kissed my hand.

"Don't worry, she loves me so much that she'll understand. Just like you, you'll understand it because you love me." I turned at him and his hands went onto my waist.

"And you'll understand me too, because you love me so much." My heart thumped at the words that came out my mouth.

It was the perfect moment but a bell flustered the both of us when Sister Francine rang it.

"How many times do I have to tell you that dinner's ready?" We both laughed and headed downstairs immediately.

My eyes widened when a huge roasted chicken was at the middle of the table, making me drool from it.

"Woah! Sisters, you don't have to prepare something like this for the both of us." Jungkook told them and they both laughed.

"Then don't eat." I laughed at Sister Francine's statement.

"You're very rude, Sister!" One of the children said and we all laughed more.

"Don't worry, I'm just teasing Mr. Jeon, because he seems to be shy and he needs to loosen up." Jungkook nodded his head and ruffled the young boy's hair.

A clinking fork was heard throughout the dining table and it was Therese. She was nonstop banging the fork on the ceramic plate and it made the sister stop playing with us.

Sister Caroline signalled us to sit and we both did.

"I'M HUNGRY!"  She shouted and I smiled at her while trying to tell her to eat.

"Where going to eat, okay?" I softly said and she threw the fork down the floor, making Jungkook go beside her.

"That's not how a Princess act, Therese. How can I marry you if you're being rude?" My eyes focused on Jungkook that was calming the girl down and the sight of him trying his best just makes my heart beat faster.

"I'm sorry, your highness." She lowered her head and Jungkook asked Sister Francine to move.

"I'll be the one feeding her, Sister." He said softly and sat beside Therese. We all started praying and it was time to eat.

"Everyone, dig in!" Jungkook said as the girl smiled happily while Jungkook fed her.

I just can't take my eyes off of him, he just looks so handsome when he is at his true nature.

Never would've thought that a guy who was known to be rich and cold, was at his most warmest right now.

Jungkook handed me the roasted chicken and pointed at my empty plate.

"Eat." He softly said while smiling at me and Therese immediately held the other hand of Jungkook.

I immediately took it and grabbed the wing part of the chicken. My eating as interrupted when a ceramic plate dropped onto the floor.

Shattered into pieces, the words thay came out of the little girls mouth shattered me as well.

"You know what, Jungkook will never love a girl like you!"
