{chapter forty six ~ shopping}

Y/N's POV

Seokjin and I went directly to work after that little incident with her sister.

"Y/N, just don't mind her okay?" He showed me a bright smile and I nodded my head while fidgeting my fingers.

"Come on, Y/N." He took my hands on his grasp and I blushed while looking into his brown eyes.

"Don't be anxious, okay? Let's prove my sister wrong, together." Seokjin patted my head and I gave him a small hug.

"Okay." He kissed my forehead softly and I giggled a little bit.

"I'm off to work." He informed me and I nodded my head. Once he went out of my office, I just completely lose it.

Tears started streaming out of my eyes and I just can't control my emotions. I just hate the feeling of being overwhelmed by someone.

"This sucks." I muttered softly and I took a deep breathe.

Maybe I should call Anna .

My hands reached for my phone and I immediately dialed her number. Anna and I had separated our ways when she worked for Namjoon's "J Club" franchise.

She works at the hiring department where she interviews girls and some boys.

"Hey , what's up?" Anna asked through the phone and I beamed with happiness.

"I'm fine, how 'bout you?" I asked and she giggled a little.

"Still sexy af." She answered and I immediately choked on my saliva.

"Still the same Anna I know." We both laughed and I heard Taehyung's voice from the background.

"Who are you talking to?" He asked and I immediately screamed at the phone.

"Taehyungie~!" Taehyung might've heard me and he replied immediately.

"Y/N cutie~" He said through the phone, probably snatching it from Anna. Anna, Namjoon and Taehyung are living on the same house.

Yes, they're in a polygamous relationship and they've been facing a lot of discrimination because of it.

"Hey, you two should go shopping for gowns now." Taehyung blurted out of nowhere and I sighed.

Why do I have to go there again?

Right, I am going to prove to Sana that she can live without that man.

"Anna, should we go check some gowns now?" I asked her and she immediately answered yes.

"Of course, we should meet each other at the nearest mall so that we can have a sleepover in your house." She suggested and I immediately agreed to her suggestion.

"It's been a while since I had you in my home, Anna. I'll just ask permission to Seokjin that I'll be going with you today and skip work once in a while." We said our goodbyes and I immediately went into Seokjin's office.

Knock ! Knock !

"Seokjin?" I opened the door softly and I saw him focusing on his work. He was listening through his earphones which he rarely used and I smiled when he adjusted his own glasses. Twirling his hands in the air when adjusting his glasses is one of his habits.

I didn't realized that I've been staring way too long , until he made eye contact with me and suddenly he winked. My cheeks blushed and I immediately gulped.

His windshield laugh echoed throughout the room and he took off his earphones.

"You can go with Anna, don't worry."He said out of nowhere and my eyebrows furrowed.

"How'd you know?" I giggled a little and he showed me his phone.

"Anna informed me and even threatened me, which is scaring me by the way." We both laughed and I looked in his eyes sincerely.

"Thank you."

After getting permission from Seokjin, I immediately called Anna to ask her if she's at the mall. I have already arrived and there was no Anna near my sight.

"Where are you?" I mumbled and suddenly someone pulled me from behind.

"Ah— Anna!" She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back too.

"We need to go now! I saw this dress that will totally suit you!" I laughed when she dragged me in a Versace store and I immediately tried to stop her from entering.

"Nope, we're not going there. It's so unnecessary to buy clothes that's so expensive for one night." Anna looked at me with her eyebrow raised.

"And it's so necessary to buy a fucking gown to prove yourself to that ungrateful bitch." She said out loud and everybody started looking at us.

"Fine." Anna dragged me happily into the store and I started looking at the racks. My eyes bulged when I saw a blush pink dress and it's price.

"$10,000, holy moly! Just for this short dress that has holes in it?" Anna laughed at my statement and she nodded her head.

"That dress is bedazzled with handmade Swarovski crystals." I shook my head and she immediately laughed.

"Don't worry , that's not what we came for." She dragged me near the manager of the store.

"Mr. Tan!" She kissed the man on the cheeks on both sides and I immediately giggled at her actions.

"Oh, Ms. Anna! Are you here for the private booking again?" He asked her and she nodded her head.

What private booking?

"Of course, show me your limited edition dresses for this lovely girl here." He looked at me and he gasped.

"Ms. Lee Y/N! Oh my gosh, I am a big fan!" A small blush seeped onto my cheeks as he reached out to shake my hands.

I immediately took it and shook his hands and he started squealing.

"I can't wait to style you so much, Ms. Lee Y/N."

My shoulders started aching and it has only been the third dress I tried. You know why? This dress costs more than my rent!

"I don't feel it." Anna made a 'tsk' sound and I immediately disagreed with her.

"I like it a lot , it's baby blue and it's so princess—" I was cut off when Anna spoke.

"That's the point, Y/N! How would you prove yourself when you look so innocent ?! You need to look fierce, ferocious. They should be intimidated by you!" The manager's eyes gleamed as I looked at him

"I think I know what dress she needs."
