{chapter fifty four ~ onesies}

Y/N's POV

"What do you think would match with pasta best?" I asked Jungkook while waving all the types of meat in front of him.

"All of it." He answered and I sighed at him.

"The fact that you eat almost anything doesn't help me." I sighed and picked for myself. My personal choice is steak and he immediately peeked at what I put in the cart.

"Got a problem?" I asked him and the both of us made eye contact once again, which caught the both of us off guard.

"N-nothing." His blush seeped into his cheeks and he immediately looked away.

"H-how about ice cream? Since were on the freezer area-" I was shocked when he had three tubs of chocolate ice cream on his hands.

I laughed loudly when he put all three of it on the cart while he gave me a confused look

"Such a baby." I blurted out and he smirked at me.

"Yeah, your only baby." He stated and I immediately threw the tub at him, making the both of us laugh our way down to the cashier.

After two people in front of us, we were finally the ones paying. I noticed that the cashier had a hearing aid and it made me wonder why she's still working even if she had this condition.

She kept on adjusting it and I could see her ears started bleeding, but she has no choice but to wear it or else she won't hear the customers.

"$99.75, do any of you have coupons or rewards card?" The cashier asked and I immediately shook my head. I was shocked when Jungkook took out three coupons.

"What?" I asked him while trying to stop myself from laughing and he just ignored me.

"How much would it save me?" He asked and I immediately shook my head.

"$15, sir. Would you like to use all of them?" The cashier asked and he nodded his head.

"New total is $84.75, cash or credit card?" Jungkook immediately handed the cashier $85 before I could even pay. The cashier hurriedly went to wrap the groceries but Jungkook took the bag from her and helped her.

"Here's 25 cents-" I refused the change and gave her an extra of $100. Her eyes widened and refused my tip immediately.

"You're doing a great job, so don't worry." I whispered at her and finally giving her a playful wink. She smiled kindly at me while bowing her head. Finally, Jungkook finished packing our groceries.

The moment I went out of the supermarket, I sighed happily. It just feels amazing to help someone.

"You did great there." Jungkook said while filling the trunk of his car full. We bought a lot of things just for one night. It was all because of Jungkook, he kept on getting a lot of stuff on the snack aisle.

"You too." I said softly while handing the last bag of food at him. Jungkook started brushing his hands off, like he just got the job done.

"Hey, it's time for pajamas." I whispered at him and he immediately laughed.

"I could wear my workout clothes and I'm fine." He explained and I sighed. I told him that I'll go buy a new pair and he immediately said to hurry up.

What should I get for me and Seokjin? Should I get matching ones?

I blushed at the thought of me and Seokjin wearing matching pajamas. The moment I entered the mall, I immediately spotted a newly opened rainbow-colored store.

"It looks like they sell colorful onesies." I took a look and I was right. This is one of the many aesthetic stores that are hyping up on the business industry nowadays.

"Welcome to Clouds!" The employee who was wearing a flower on his head greeted me happily. His vibrant red hair caught my eye immediately.

"Umm-J-hope? Do you offer couple onesies?" I asked him while looking at his name tag and he hopped in front of me happily but it made me scared.

What's wrong with this guy?!

"Couple onesies coming right up!" He immediately trotted across the room and pulled the whole entire rack in front of me.

"Oh! You don't have to pull the whole entire rack-" I tried stopping him but he gave me a huge smile.

"Don't worry, miss! You're my first customer and I will do anything for you!" He gave me a salute pose and I immediately stopped him.

"You don't need to do that!" It came out as a yell and he immediately slumped down. His energetic nature quickly disappeared and was replaced by sadness.

"I need to do everything, or else-no one will buy from me." J-hope started looking like he lost all his hope and it was wrong of me to yell at him. My heart started aching and I suddenly felt sad.

The effect of this man on me.

"Umm- please don't worry! I will buy the whole rack for you!-wait, yes! I'll buy it for you!" I said without thinking and I will definitely regret this decision.

"But this rack contains 10 onesies, which means-you're an amazing customer! I'll make sure to put you as the number one customer on every social media accounts we have and I'll put your face on the clouds of fame!" The guy hugged me tightly out of happiness and I awkwardly scratched my head.

Looks like I'm wasting my money today.

"We should take a picture, Miss!" He took out his phone and snapped a picture of the both of us.

"Can I take all of this out now?" I asked him and he nodded his head.

"Pay first!" He remembered while panicking and I did too.

"Here's my card-" He interrupted me immediately and I facepalmed myself.

"Rule #2, customers should be the one to swipe their own credit cards." He explained as he came running with the device on his hands. I hurriedly swiped my card and a receipt went out of the device. He made me sign the receipt and gave me the other one.

"Thank you!" He waved at me and I immediately pushed the rack with me into the parking lot.

"Why did I freaking went inside that store?"
